This was the one

Now that the hoop-lala has settled down some, I have to disagree with the title of this thread.

This game IMO was not "the one". This was the Cowboys we played. I (and Brett) would have been very disappointed if we lost. wink

I guess I do get what LIMT was trying say grin If this game truly is "the one", what would be next weeks game? I had belief in the Vikes before this game today. Honestly the win over Green Bay the first time meant more to me than this win. The Cowboys are/where a mediocre team this year. It showed in how they played today.

So IMO the "one" is coming on Feb. 7th wink

My point was Josh that this was the win for me that made the season. Had they lost yesterday, there would have been a lot of questions, finger pointing, etc.

Now it doesn't matter.

At least to me....

The Vikes went into this game negative 10 points because of the media. Then the public got down wind and lost another 5 points! If the media hyped up the Vikes like they did with the Cowboys, the general public and trickle down would have been for a Vikes victory. The fact remains (even minutes prior to the game) the "experts" on the boobtube where against the Vikes.

One Ray of Hope! The instant poling that came out right before the game from the public favored the Vikes to win grin

It was a great game no-doubt. Next week is another story and a new situation! Let's hope for a good week at Winter Park. smile

Limits skirting my question. Apparently he is a fan of no team, but a basher of the Vikes.

He complains about the purple Kool-Aid, as his drink is obviously Haterade. He hates on pretty much everything, not just the Vikings. I would think that he is not capable of liking anything.

I bet he is a real treat IRL.

Like others have mentioned though, you have to give him respect for his determination. He orders up a second helping of crow before he has even cleaned his first plate.

Ohhh, the fall is going to be so hard and I almost feel bad for you guys.

So they are 8-0 at home, won their division, secured a #2 seed and got a bye, then won a playoff game against a good team, and now playing for the NFC championship and they are not an elite team this year.

And why would you say this? I don't think i've seen anyone on here guaranteeing a win or talking smack on the saints. Everyone is jacked for the game, but well aware of the opponent and atmosphere standing in the way.

But moving on, pretty sure we heard this junk last week from you. Or rather for the last what, 18 weeks we've heard it? If you didnt play the bit so hard it might not be so transparent.
