Panthers v. Vikings

Go Vikes! smile

O-line was weak IMO. Pepper crushed Favray too many times last night. Our D fell apart mid game.

First seed or second, once this years team gets in the playoffs, I feel it will come together.

I had a feeling last nights game was going to be a tough one. I figured we would win. Maybe cocky got the best of us (Vikes).

I ain't jumping ship yet. wink

Shack you need to get a little stronger before you jump for anything right now! But get ready for it in a few weeks! grin

Sure the vike had an off day. They came out flat, showed no urgency, dropped tons of balls, had some questionable play calling...But the panthers defense played out of there minds. The vikes didn't adjust, they didn't panic. They lost. Plain and simple. But They still won the division. They will get at least one more win, get a bye and then a home game. Anything can happen in the playoffs. It is time for chili to earn his money...

if the vikings would have played before the packers lost, or played, i think it would have been a different game for the vikings

I think there's some truth to that. Carolina caught us much like the Vikes did to the Cardinals last year. Don't tell that to the TJack faithfull though.

The Vikings didn't catch the Cardinals last year. Lets be realistic, Arizona had their playoff situation wrapped up and didn't have any skin in the game at that point. It was a gimmie win for the Vikes just as the Giants game was in Week 17.

The Vikes basically stumbled into two wins because their opponents (who, unlike the Vikings, actually had a legitimate chance in the playoffs) were throwing in the towel until the games counted in the post season.

The Vikes plain got drilled Sunday night and never saw it coming.

At the half, Childress reportedly cursed at the team and said it's "laughable" that the Vikings consider themselves a Super Bowl team.

I may have to rethink my opinion of Chili after reading this because obviously he knows his team is a fraud (as does the rest of the country after watching the Vikings get completely pounded in primetime on national television) which is completely understandable and accurate. Maybe Chili ain't so bad afterall!

That's what I said LMIT...easy win last year in Arizona JUST AFTER THEY WRAPPED UP THE DIVISION. Giants a little different but basically the same thing...

Gotcha.

The Vikings still had the opportunity to chase the #1 seed in the NFC with the Saints losing this week, so they didn't go into this game complacent with a divsion championship.....or at least I hope not otherwise there are bigger issues in play.

I think they packed their massive ego onto the team plane and brought it with them to this game, thinking they were going to have their way with a terrible team and an inexperienced QB. Little did they know that they'd be heading back with their tail tucked between their legs later that night after a thorough whuppin.

wow, the panthers destroyed the giants today......

Matt Moores pretty decent. Too bad they just locked Delhomme up in a HUGE contract. They will have to do what the Pats did with Cassell this past offseason and trade Moore. Raiders, Redskins, Broncos amongst a few others could be interested.

Shoulda woulda coulda.....

Yep they are pretty junky.

So they have basically shut down 3 of the top 7 offenses in "total yard" in the NFL the last 3 games two of which were on the road...

Of course we can blame that on Chili... smile
