My son got his 3rd deer this evening. He went without last year, and I was hoping he would be able to get back on the board ths season.

I made him hang and skin this one, after taking care of the 1st two for him.

I shot this buck while hunting on my Grandparents farm in Michigan. He was at around 80 yards when I shot him. A very tall racked 6 pointer.

My brothers neighbor shot this nice buck on Thanksgiving, near Winona, MN. Both G2's split 3 ways. Amazing Mass and nice dark rack.

Another nice SE MN deer. There have been some giants shot down here. In the last couple days i've recieved emails of a 193" 13 pointer shot by Millville and a 24 point 231" nontypical shot by spring valley and found out a co-worker took a 170" typical with his bow.

the millville deer is on the front page of the ODN i just noticed.

They brought that Millville deer into town after he shot it and it looks even bigger in person. The guy said it was a 200 yard shot with his muzzy.

Cooter he did smell! But he was living in a swamp also. I did just get home from South Dakota chasing roosters but shot the buck in MN. Only my second buck been hunting MN deer for 8 years (never went before because i didnt want to deal with the masses) But learned quickly how lazy alot of people are-on state land- so we go where they will not go because they cant get their wheeler back there. We had a big chunk of land all to ourselves.

Where did you see that the shot was with open sights? Great shot if it is.

The Muzzy in picture on the front page of odn has a scope on it. I wish I was Chad Schumacher. He is one lucky hunter. Congrats

This is my biggest buck to date, as I only have hunted on public land in West Central Wisconsin-He came out and crossed a 30 yd wide swamp-Had 3 seconds to shoot-Worked out well-13 points with a 14th broke-Actually a main frame 10 with 5 stickers
