Bonser progressing: Boof Bonser remains ahead of schedule in his comeback from shoulder surgery and, Gardenhire said Sunday, could be back on the major league mound in September as a starter or in relief.

"They're getting ready to start him really getting back into it, throwing to hitters and pitching," Gardenhire said. "He's moving along, champing at the bit. ... They're having to hold him back. Congrats Cuddy. The man is the ONLY major league player in history to hit for the cycle and hit 2 homers in 1 inning in the same year. Kinda of a reach, but no one has done it before.

Starts the rally in the ninth and scores the winning run.

I can not for the life of me explain why Danks would keep throwing those change ups over the plate to him. What a dope! I think Cuddyer is something like 17 for 30 against Danks. Does the word "pitch around" ever enter the equation? LOL

Oh well, I am guessing that both these teams will break our hearts this year and we will both be watching the Kitties in the playoffs, but one can hope!

Terrible call, pretty much a routine catch up against the baggie. The only thing I thought was that the umps and Ozzie thought there was no way that Cuddles could make a leaping catch wink

Tough break for the Twinks today, this could be a huge loss. The momentum could either go drasically down or they keep there heads up.

Don't they use REPLAYS????????? That wasn't even close...he caught it. While they didn't score that inning, it DOES make a difference.....Beckham/ Konerko wouldn't have come to the plate in the 9th.

Replays can only be used to determine if it was a home run or if a ball going over the fence is fair or foul.

he has been rather quiet since that monster two solo home run game. I do think though that if the twins are eliminated there's a good chance that he'll finish up the season very strong as he does seem to thrive in non-pressure situations.

I'm just about ready though to give in and say he probably earned his salary this season when you compare his numbers to others getting that kind of money. The thing about it though that scares me is that if you say he's earned it, what kind of money are we going to need to pay denard span and jason kubel in the near future on top of what is going to have to go to mauer? Those two are both more valuable than cuddy so does that mean $10 mil contracts for them in the near future (or losing to another team)? That doesn't bode well for the possibility of picking up other possible players in the offseason.

Don't get me wrong, I love Morneau, but as a past MVP, he has been alot more disappointing than Cuddy this year. Regardless of what you say or think of him, Cuddy has put together a great year, and has hit at least 10 more HRs than any of us would have given him credit for at the beginning of the year

      got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out

      Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!

      we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
