Here are a few sumo gills we caught on Friday.

Lots of 10" to 10.5" fish.

Let them all go but sure had a great time.

Here's a few pictures I took from my Grand Rapids trip. It was very cold and post frontal with HP dominating thursday, friday, and saturday, making for some tough fishing.

This first bluegill measured 10.5". A few other gills very close to the 10" mark. I caught some slab crappies too, although they weren't stacked up.

The LA Atomic Stealth jig with red Gulp! waxie combo was working best for me. Andy was doing well on the Fiska's balance jig with spikes loaded on both ends.

Here's that 10.5" gill. I wish I would have taken the time to get more pictures because the ones I took don't really capture the essence of it's size. Not a bad picture though.

Man I found a few tonight between 7 and 8". They look tiny compared to those beasts. Nice job guys

A good crappie day ... limeted out by the end of a 3 hour outing! Best I have done in my new B ice fishing season. Before I get heckled I was with anouther guy so i wasnt over fishing!

Nice gills, chuckwagon. While out with the f i l today I got an extremly fat 9 3/4 incher with simalar color. Darn near purple. I've caught few fish worthy of mounting but this fella really has some nice coloring and is taxidermist bound.

those are some slab crappies and quite the beefy gills.I wouldnt mine getttin into some of those!

Thats awewome boat fixer! Post pics when shes done. I would to catch like 5 or 6 bull gills and get a nice drift wood panny mount !

I know what lake you're talking about, but it wasn't that lake. I have caught a 10.5" gill out of that "g" lake too.

Just curious where you live in Plymouth. I live in Plymouth too. Maybe we could team up sometime and do some fishing.

hope you got a good taxidermist thats cheap i have a 1 lb 8 oz and 1 lb 5 oz both from South dakota and that cost me $400 bucks, two more i wanna do that are both 1 lb 5 oz just waiting for funds.

very nice sunnies...would be some good mounters...2 winters ago i caught a couple 10in, one that was 11.25 and one that was 11.75 and i didnt mount them..it would have been such a great mount...at the time i was in college and didnt have any money. Here is the pic from a couple years ago.
