Scott K
Quote: Antoine Winfield made the first Pro Bowl of his ten-year career Tuesday.Six Vikings are going: Adrian Peterson, G Steve Hutchinson, DTs Kevin and Pat Williams and DE Jared Allen. Winfield's honor is overdue. He finally made some game-changing plays this season to go along with his usual steady tackling and covering skills. zamboni
Glad to see the list.Would have liked to see Greenway too.No Birk either.... Agreed- Greenway is involved in almost every tackle on the field. Reminds me alot of Uhrlacher. Hmmmmmm, Only 2 Packers. Thats a shame. And Mr Big Bucks QB wasn't one of them

Sandmannd
Good to see, all well deserved and Winfield was by far overdue. I could see Greenway going, but he'll get there for sure.
Scott M
I think if EJ didn't get hurt he would be there too. But Greenway and Leber did step up...If Greenway keeps playing at his same level he will make a Pro Bowl or two during his career.
jigging-matt
Well deserved for Winfield, another season like this and Greenway will be there next year. Did you hear that Winfield is taking the entire secondary to Hawaii. He said the made the agreement before the season started. Whoever made it brings the rest of them. Pretty classy. Outdoors Junkie
Winfield is a total class act! That is cool he is bringing the rest of the secondary. He is undersized, but plays with a heart of a lion.I think Greenway is very close. He might be next in line if one of the Pro-Bowl Linebackers goes down with an injury before the end of the year. croixflats
As said Winfeild well deserving and past due. I can think of another player that did not get recognized, Jack Delrio. Thankfully for Winfeild he didnt get overlooked.Seems like we always have a great player at that position..

snoozebutton
Favre over Rivers?......LOL I thought the same thing. He's got 21 TDs but 17 interceptions, Philip Rivers with 28 and 11 should have definitely gotten the nod over him.
LMITOUT
Favre over Rivers?......LOL Not bad for a supposed "washed up" QB that MN fans didn't want. Pro Bowl selection #10, BTW.

LMITOUT
No. That was floating around in emails, etc. during the Favre un-retirement saga earlier this year.
blue_healer_guy
I don't think it was a case of Minnesota not wanting him, just that the Packers wouldn't let him come here. PB are all well deserved. I think Greenway's a liitle overated, not real good in pass coverage, (until last 2 weeks) and I think only reason we talk about him is the real PB is hurt.
