Next time the Point will give up the big ones.Hopefully Todd, Doug, Jay and all can make a trip down someday. I did end up with 1 perch a hair over 13.5 right after you left. Otis1
Ellie and I hit Lake Marine this morning. Plenty of ice and about 8 inches of snow on top. We got a few small perch then a herd of toothies started coming through. We seen some nice pickeral and a big tiger. The seemed to stick around but we couldn't get them to hit. Spoke with a couple guys that went out on the big side and they didn't have much luck either.
CNY Lee
Frank, Todd and myself hit the ice around 1pm today and fished the after noon. Todd got some nice hybrids and I got a couple my self and Frank caught a beauty of a gill and some hybrids plus a nice bass. Frank and I stayed for the night crappie bite that never happened, sorry Frank maybe next time. Good luck tomorrow, some of us have to work.... LOL Here's a couple of pictures, it sure was cold with that South East wind.
CNYFrank
Lee happens . . .we should have followed Todd ealier in the day. Some is better than none! Timmie . . .yes that is the infamous castmaster I caught the bass on . . . the line broke because somehow the line had gotten under the spool!! Good thing the bass was tired out as I hand lined it in.

Dark Cloud
Nice job this weekend guys! And Mr. Todd Wilson too... I spent the weekend down our cabin. Had a little gathering with some cousins and friends. No fishing, just liquids, eating, cards, and shooting the breeze... -16 on sat morning... Got home today in time to run up the neighbors pond with the new rod and pop a nice crappie and a big gill So Timmy Toe, who are the Browns playing in the Super Bowl? Also had 1 tiger musky on a tip up, 28" took pictures and released back into the lake unharmed
CNY Tim
Here's some pictures of the boys that arrived this a.m. from Steve. Fantastic trip and these I promise are in a "No Tow Zone". Congrats to the Steelers for doing what they do regularly and what the Browns will never accomplish. Hit the hay after the game last night Jay sorry I didn't call I was whooped. Relaxed a bit this morning and finished the snowblowing that Rosa left behind for me and then I went to the bowling alley with Rosa and Amanda to try to to help Amanda a bit. Now Rosa hasn't bowled in like 15 years and me about 18 years. Rosa has always been a better bowler then me so I was thinking about how bad I was going to get my but kicked and how I was going to not embarass myself. Well my knee held out for 1 game and 3 frames before I just had to stand at the line and deliver the ball but I bowled a respectable 137 for a first game and followed up with a 125, Rosa had a 89 and finished her second game with a 117. Amanda bowled her average 72 in the first and a 93 in the second. So slowing Amanda's delivery down a bit helped her. Todd I can run that battery out to you after dinner and let you rifle through the Maki's plastics. Call me... Kevin - Thanks for the baitpucks and the new Strikemaster hat. Now look at the Nogging Knob on this guy.. One of Steve's slammer perch...

CNYFrank
Timmie Toes . . .LOL, love it!! Went to YT for the late bite. Sunnies and Craps . . .not a lot but enough, 10 fow, plastic glow. P-lot was over filled . . . if some guys would park just a little closer to each other could have squeezed a couple more in. Basically waited, took a ride around the lake and when I got back saw 2 guys coming up the hill. Waited and had a spot to park in. Left when the bite was picking up as it got just this side of dark . . .several still out and looked like one group was staying for awhile as they had a big lantern going. Not me . . . I'll wait for the new sign.

Sniper07
Went to yellow tape today, got set up by 10:30 and they started hitting my jammin jig within 5 mins. First up was a 16.5" Smallmouth, man did he put up a good fight. He took line like a madman before I finally got him iced and got his pic. Then it was an all out gill fest with a few crappie thrown in for good measure. It was a spot I had marked on my GPS a couple weeks ago, and I decided to try again. I managed to get a few pics as I normally do when I get fish but I can't seem to get them to load up. My biggest Crappie was 9.5" and my biggest Gill was 9.5" also, not monsters but the fish kept me busy between catching them and changing jigs. Pike Pounder
Fished Conesus Tuesday on the north end. Got about 150 gills between 2 of us. Maybe 25 were keepers. Had to weed threw a TON of dinks. Had ZERO flags. Was very slow on the pike side..lol The gills only wanted meat. Wanted nothing to do with Makis. Ice was a solid 8-9 inches. iceguy
some nice perch from Sodus last weekend: Note from Admin: Fish pictures must be in the natural environment where the fish is caught that do not look frozen, stiff, bloodied or look like they were just poured out of a bucket and no stringer or fish in a bucket pics. Thank you...
iceman1603
Fished BB this am with Doug, (AW) (CHEF) yall know who im talking about... Lots of dinks, lots of Rockies, lots of ice and lots of snow.. Walking wasnt that bad. Fishin could have been better. Finally found some decent fish as our time expired.Word of advice as learned today. The next time you go out fishin, go to the spot you want to fish, then back up 50 yards. Drill jig and set hook. LOL!!Thanks again doug
augustwest
Nice on the ice with you again Callie...I can't ever remember that many PUNY Perch there...EVER. We fished the basin in 24FOW and I moved A LOT as usual. Everywhere I went in the basin, I got a screen full of Dinkazoids. They were even too small to get a 1/64 ounce jig into...seriously. I backed into 16FOW and found 4 feet of fresh weeds . I proceeded to pull off the bottom...the fish we were after in the begining...nice 10-12 inch Perch Thunder...it is worth a good investigation soon
Dark Cloud
Got home from work in time to catch a few gill and crappies up the pond. The fish had to be worked bigtime! One was this Diesel Gill... First person to name that jig gets one free rusty jig with a bent eyelet
