Paula looked very fetching last night - but also looked like she was extremely high.

I think they made the right calls last night. That gal who sang "Rockin' Robin" probably should NOT unpack her bags too much, though - she was given a gift last night.

I really like the idea of the new "LIfe Line" the judges have. That will make things VERY interesting, especially in the later rounds....

Blind guy will go a long way - even though he's not that great of a singer. Lots of 13 yr old girls love him.

I would agree with the Kelly reviews so far, kind of like Jessica Simpson, not trying to fit in a size 2 anymore. Drinking beer and eating BBQ with her boyfried and not worrying about fitting an image anymore. Can't say that I liked her song too much but it was a far poke better than Kanye's self-indulgent fantasy.

We switched channels....how embarrassing! In light of all the new young talent on stage, all them fine voices? They all left him in the rearview mirror, even the ones that went home! That guy was terrible! He wouldn't even have gotten a yellow paper with that performance!

So far I think the whole season has been boring! I agree Paula is a train wreck. And what is with Megan? My great dane can dance better than she can, plus she looks like an ad for Goodwill with the clothes she wears.

I think Megan studies the Amy Winehouse dance repetory. She reminds me of her a little with some of her shaky shaky moves. As for the clothing, I can go for Goodwill box! LOL

Alexis and Scott.. stick any of another group in the bottom 3, but it will be between those 2 for the vote out, and its probably Alexis, which is bad, because she has been on from the start, but tonight she was off!... really off in my opinion...

In my opinion, its down to a 3-4 person race..

Danny, Adam, Lil, Matt.. Tonight goes Matt... Although Adam, and Danny also brought it.. Lil fumbled a bit..

Megan might and the rigger might, but I think Anoop is safe. Lil Round is safe to I do believe... she sure is pretty. It will be interesting to see who walks the plank tomorrow.

Call me odd but I really enjoyed the strange Adam song. It was intersting to say the least. I also thought that Lil had a tough night, I didn't think Alexis was as bad as the judges thought. Danny and Mat where really good. The rest should be safe. I think Oil Rigger will go.

I will agree with half of your assessment Dietz. I say the bottom two will be Michael and Scott. I think Alexis's body of work to date will save her the same way Anoop was saved last week. People know when an artist is good and just has a bad night. I think Michael and Scott are both hugely likeable guys with wholesome families and stories and Scott did overcome some huge challenges but they just keep singing OK and do nothing to seperate themselves from the crowd. I think it will be either Michael or Scott and if I had to bet on one I would go with Michael. I think country night was his chance to really show his stuff in his comfort zone and he just came across as so so. I am one of those guys who does appreciate creativity and I can not figure out whether I liked Adam's performance or not!!! LOL

I think the bottom has 4 in the running. Scott, not to be unsympathetic, but his singing is just so so, sooner or later if the compassion is getting him votes, that is wrong. Michael, also very likeable is just so so, but has a great story. Alexis, raspy, soulfilled, and talented, but tonight just wasn't her night. And finally Lil, just too blah for me, she had some great opportunity to shine but I would agree with the judges and say it just didn't meet her potential.

On the Adam subject, I about flipped my lid this morning on my radio show. I am so sick of hearing the judges use the term "untouchable" about some songs and then not using it for others. I wanted to jump through the screen, and smack the dude up side the head for taking, something in my opinion as an "untouchable" and makeing a spectical of it, not a showcase, if he would have rocked it out, or made it something he would actually do for an album I wouldn't mind, but that was just altered.

I work in radio and my musical taste is so diverse it is unbelievable, but that was a desicration of a classic. My cd player runs everything from Brooke Benton and Dinah Washington, to Eminem, to Pantera, to James Taylor, the Violent Femmes, the Dead Milkmen, The Cure and Jerry Jeff Walker, so please don't think I have music style barriers, but that just sent me off the rocker. He will make it through the round I am sure, but I wish the judges would show some relative consistancy on some of this. They have allowed the hype of some weigh in on their comments in my opinion.

Ok, soapbox has been stowed away for at least another week. Onward!

Adam's performance reminded me of Jim Carrey in The Cable Guy when he was doing the Karoake in his apartment! My wife cracked up when I said that while we were watching his performance! Sand, you missed a classic if you missed Adam, you had better try to google it, you have to check it out, strange days indeed!

I consider myself to be a pretty good judge of talent on this show and I usually wait to post in the morning at work but I had to jump on tonight to say All Hail The New King, Dietz, he was dead on with his pick of Alexis. I thought she was bad but I thought what she had brung to the table to date would save her. That being said, I could not disagree with the voting more on all levels. First to have Allison in the bottom three was ridiculous but it is how America is voting. Second, America seems to have fallen in love with the Scott story and is giving him way way way to much love. Granted he is blind but it now seems that America has become deaf! What is wrong with you people. The dude can't sing. He is OK but he is not top 10 material. I am saddened that the judges teased about the save and then did not pull the trigger. I think it will take Adam, Lil or Danny hitting the bottom to trigger their save. Michael ain't so hot either, I just can't believe that he got more votes than Alexis did. The truly sad part is that Alexis will now not be on the tour with the top 10 and I can think of about 5 of the top 10 that I would pass on to hear that little slice o pie sing over.
