MrBaz
My vote goes to topwater, I just like to see the bass smash the bait on top, Plus if vegitation is real thick I think its a great way to catch em. Nothing like a topwater bite in the the morning to wake ya up.
bassNspear
I would say crankbaits. And the reason for it is becuase you can cover alot of water, and you can do sooooo much with cranks. Fishing them from shallow water, all the way to deep water.
Sandmannd
I would go with topwater as well. Maybe not as productive as others, but whey they hit, it's a blast.
BigGrassBass
Topwater. Not for production, but for adrenaline!
Craig Plummer
Plastic Worms!!!!!You can always catch fish with a slow methodical worm presentation

Deitz Dittrich
I'm going to have to go with none of the above... as stated by Craig Plumber... Plastics have caught more fish than any lure out there... If I had to pick one of the others.. It would be cranks.. problem is, not just one crankbait works for everything... Spinnerbaits are easy to fish.
Neighbor_guy
Of the lures you have given as options. My vote is for the JIG.IMHO The skirted jig is the most versitle lure available to the average bass fisherman. Just by changing the trailor you use it can be fished slow, skiped under docks, fliped/piched to cover, swam like a crank, dragged on gravel. It goes on and on ...... Burnham
spinnerbaits, actually more like in-line spinners. i catch about half of my bass on an in-line spinner such as mepps, rooster tail, and blue fox. in-line spinners are the most productive style lure for me
TonkaBass
I also vote for jigs. You can fish them so many different ways and there are so many types available.

DeanoB
I would say JIGS, because you can attach plastics like senkos, powerbait creatures, or live bait to them, and for that reason they are very versatile.
Cicada
I would say I've caught most bass on a spinnerbait, but I think seeing a buzzbait just blow up on the water is a rush.
Bassman55
I would say jigs. No matter where in the country somebody is always catching bass on jigs, not my personal first choice though.
Dooley87
i would have to say the spinnerbait because it is one-who-thinks-I-am-silly proof, tie it on and reel it back to the boat. i fish em all but an all time favorite bass lure would be the spinnerbait imho or the worm, the two have been around forever and still consistantly catch fish

Ray Esboldt
Assuming I can attach some kind plastic or pork product to it, I will say a jig. I am sure 1/8oz. mushroom heads coupled with something plastic have accounted for more fish (not just bass) for me than all other classes of lures combined. rockman
Definitely would have to go with jigs.Weedless jigs with rubber skirts and weedguards, all the way across the jig spectrum to mushroom jigheads used in jigworm rigs, that Ray posted on. evinrude19
i would choose jig because i have caught alot of my fish with them and u can fish them slow or fast, deep or shallow , or attach plastic trailors to them and change the color of the skirts on them my favorite lure, the "jig n pig"! grab the net
Jigs - hands down, versatility, from shallow to deep. Can swim it, pitch it, flip it, skip it, dead stick it,drag it,hop it, well you get the idea.
