hanson
Just to put a little perspective here... that Crappie is 14 3/4" from URL, probably 1 3/4 lbs. I had that one done 3-4 years ago. The Bluegill is not mine but rather a friends. I had my Uncle Jack do the mount for him. I don't want to give it back. Its gorgeous! Not to mention a freakin' beast! Close Up... Shack
Perfect, 20/20 . One time it took a couple seconds for them to pop up, but they come up fine now. Looks good.
polarsusd81
Look good Hanson. Your uncle lives right up by me doesn't he? I am thinking about getting Hunter's first fish mounted for him. It is just a little crappie, but I have a cool idea for what I want to do with/for it.
hanson
He's in Coon Rapids Tom.The Gill was 12" long. Never seen anything like that in my life. Probably never will again either. Was caught in MN as well.
DHanson
Nice mounts Hanson! Not to take anything away from your nice crappie, but that sunfish makes that crappie look a lot smaller than it is. That sunfish is a beast! 12" is amazing. I've been right around the 11" mark for sunfish that I released, but nothing even close to 12". I hope to one day get a replica of a 12" gill. Sandmannd
Chris, does your uncle still do this? Can you send me some contact info? I'd like to see how much for my gill. Looks like he does an awesome job. You can email me at [email protected]
