I used photo bucket and have posted pics before , but for some reason was having troubls with this one. Hunters name was Josh Pflanz from Arlington and he shot the buck near Blakely,Mn which is near Belle Plaine and Henderson. 23 points .I guess it green scored 211. Rumor has it he has been offered $20 grand for it.Field dressed about 170lbs.

It was shot by Cotton Lake by DL in zone 244 from what i have heard its real.

It's real - A friend of mine from the DL area - It was a neighbor of her co-worker - Her co-worker was the one that caped it out for the taxidermist. What a monster.

That buck from 244 is real. They have the picture in the newspaper. They were feeding it for the past 2 yrs. Last year it was bigger and this year it has more mass but less points. I guess they used some sort of cattle feeder to feed it during the winter and summer. Last year they had pictures but never saw it during season. Now this year they saw it again all summer and then they finally saw it during rifle season. Heck of a deer.

I think the way he is holding it in the pic is what makes it look even bigger. That head is about as wide as his chest. Feeding him last year and during the summer huh? Sounds like they pretty much had him conditioned and patterned......wonder if they had him tied up too? I'd like to know the spread and green score on the moose.

look at his elbows...he knows how to take pictures. The arms are locked. so it's close to the camera. But still large deer. I got it in an email.

O.K if the deer has a 24" spread which it may have. the guy's shoulders are 9" wide?????? with huge hands

Look at the ears - 16" + another 4" on either side = 24".

Look at the deer not at the guy holding it.

I'm as skeptical as a guy gets, but it sounds to me like some guys' green sides are showing . Nice Deer!

How come when i measured the width of the ears on my 3.5 year old deer and added 4 in. I only came up with the 20? The wide as the ears = 20 in. is not always correct, atleast in my case! Either way the that buck is still a brute!

It is a nice deer no question. What I'm saying is that the guy is the only thing you can compare the rack to. I don't believe it is in preportion [sp]to the hunter.
