How old you guys think he is? I don't think he's very old because his body is still not fully matured. His gut is small and his neck is very small (granted he's not rutted up yet but still). I'd be real curious to see him in the fall...

I agree, he looks a bit young yet, I bet he is 2.5 to 3.5 years old. Hard to tell in the Summer time though, especially with southern deer. In any case, he is very nice. That velvet sure is a beautiful thing isn't it? Lets hope he makes it!! Great pics guys!

Wow! What a great looking buck! Man, those are some long tines. Big body, too.

I've been having great luck with my camera. I'll post a few of what I have been getting, but the images are a little blurry and out of focus. Gonna have to send it back in tomorrow for warranty.

Here is another one that I just love. Looks like this photo might be a good "caption this picture" fodder.

Camera is going out in the mail for warranty work today. Man, I am gonna have withdrawals!

yes he is in Ottertail county, but thats all i can say smirk.gif

i actually think i got the same buck on camera from last year after second weekend of firearms. the buck was checking a scrape and he looked very run down from the rut. although last year he was a nine pointer and this year he's back to eight points. his brow tines are what makes me believe he's the same buck.

it might take me a while but i'll try to post both bucks and let you guys help me decide

Well, I can't match that but atleast my 35mm redeemed itself a little bit, finally got a full roll of film out of the P.O.S, my poor food plot doesn't stand a chance, it's about .2 of a acre and there's alot of deer beating it up.

I'll see if I can't improve the pic.

I have heard of guys in extreme Northern MN having Trail Cam pictures of cougars at bear bait sites. I talked to some locals by our property in Orr and they say there are a lot more Cougars in MN than the DNR wants the public to know. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this, and does anyone have any pics?

Here is a dream story from last year. My buddy has a friend from back home (who I have never met) that caught his buck on camera then later shot it! Here are the pics..
