Couple pretty impressive fish! That pike is flat-out fat! Very nicely captured pic too.....

Pretty sure I can put you on the "spot on the spot" of the muskie: Inside turn on the West side of the saddle/neckdown area between two weed flats?

That's a pike from years past. Is that pike eating faster than he can grow length ? I would've had to chisel the hole bigger, thanks for sharing, wonder if the fish in that lake knicknamed him chubby or something so he just devoured all the name callers. Nice fish.

Thought I'd share a picture of a 50.5" muskie I caught a while back. Sorry no girth measurements, I was shaking for a good 10 mins. after i caught it. I was using a firetiger buck tail with a orange grub.

how do you like those rubberized gloves for fish handling? i used em at work operating a chainsaw in water... great grip. didn't even think about using them for handling big esox!

The infamous "muskie bay" in 4-5 fow over scattered weed clumps on a LOWRider on a warm September night based on what I see! Barometric pressure at 30.19 inches and falling and a slight SW breeze, as I 'feel' by looking...

Nice pic of a big fish, even you look somewhat normal!

if you ask me, it looks like a North Star fish, 50inchpig. Nice and big, and nice and clean.

BB, it was metro fish, was surprising how many nice clean ones we got in 2009 though. Maybe cooler temps kept some fish around the weeds that would otherwise be somewhere else?
