Shoot2Kill
A day of firsts yesterday! At 10:30 yesterday I was sitting at work and could not take it any longer, I had to get out, it was a perfect fall day with a major from 1-3 and I needed a fix. Bolted home, hooked up the rig and was backing the boat in 90 minutes from leaving work. Raised a fatty at 1:45 twice in 3 casts on a walleye bulldawg in 20 FOW but she wouldn't play. I tried all kinds of stuff on the breaks, Naze baits, Suicks, Jakes, Dawgs, but no dice....reached for the blades and stuck this fish on the 5th cast with blades in 10 FOW above the dying weeds at 3:00 on the dot! She wanted nothing to do with getting close to the boat and put on quite a show with some seriously impressive head shakes. A day of firsts - -First solo CPR -First day fish -First fish on that rod/reel combo -First fish on that bait -First time I've been home by 5 from muskie fishing and the first time the wife has actually been happy with me. Dang I love these things!
