always cool to see them!!!!!!!! taste pretty good to.  but boy did they change the laws on how you can harvest them.

there a bugger to clean but oh so worth it.

 

mom used to brown it rolled in flour and salt and pepper. put it in a roaster add onions, dry onion soup mix and bake it.  depending on how bog or old it was pretty much depended on how long it needed to bake!!!!! usually a good 3-4 hours!!!!

This was the first jumping mouse that I have seen and unfortunately it was dead. The tail was about 6 inches long!

I have only seen wolves in our yard before. Last night this guy showed up. I am thinking it was a coyote. What do you think?

Based on the long snout and overall color.....I think that it is a young Timberwolf.

Interesting color phase.

yeah colors are interesting for sure, I think the rounded ears instead of pointed indicate wolf as well? 

 

coyote would have narrower snout as well.
