Can you hike or free climb?  Or do you need climbing gear?

 

I’ve been near it but never seen it.  I might just have have to swing by some day to check it off the list.

You need gear and a lot of it, we hired a guide. It’s a pretty challenging climb up and down, the routes are long, strenuous, and can take hours to complete. 
 

we had 1 day of practice and training and another entire day to climb:

Went to DT with my kids when they were little.  Enjoying a peaceful walk around it on the trail on a clear and quite day. Looked up and watched some climbers for a bit.  All of a sudden the peacefulness and quite was shattered by one of them yelling "Let go of the F$#@ing rope, your burning my F&%$ing hands!"

Wife and I hit the jackpot last week. Low to mid 70s, low humidity, and trails were not dusty since they had rain a couple days before. Best of all .....no bugs. 
On another note, we saw the single largest deer I’ve ever seen, literally dropped my jaw. A massive doe! My wife said she thought it was a horse...

Smurfy......as we like to say around here, it is not a party unless you have party lights.

Mike.......Mrs Duff likes whimsical toads, frogs, turtles, and mushrooms in her gardens. So as I was trying to find some for her I found the T-rex skull and was like.....oh yea....that's mine.

The deer sheds are for the squirrels to chew on instead of deck and patio furniture.
