Exactly, sure throw the freeking ball but its the running game that opens up those throws.  Cook ran all over the Saints in the first half then the Saints geared up to stop the run leaving the passing

You don't force your QB to needlessly throw the ball in a blow out win just to justify the money he is making.  Each game is different, when the opposing team can't stop the run then you run it right

Exactly! That game was played how any coach in the NFL would want the game to be played. Run, run and run some more. As long as the chains are moving, keep the ball on the ground, grind out the clock

A lot of poor decisions last night.

 

How they managed to give the gall back just before half time was inexcusable. Got lucky it was only 3pts they gave up.

 

Zimmer using a time out to prevent a delay of game so they could punt? WTH

 

No play action bootlegs or screens I don't get it? Especially when it’s obvious the o-line can’t protect or block anybody. Letting Cousins drop-back, sit in the pocket is a disaster.

 

Can't fault defense for being gassed they had to be on the field the entire game.

He had plenty of opportunities last night to be as good as he wanted to be. He is like a good rookie QB. He can play well when he is playing a poor team that can't muster up a consistent pass rush but when the pressure is on he folds like a cheap umbrella.

It's generally a "1-2-3-throw" league with a few exceptions, gotta get the throw off in that timeframe.

 

It's the NFL, there are surprises every week, let's hope we get one in the playoffs.

The Vikings have some Great talent this year. When your and offensive coordinator and you know your 1st and 2nd string running backs are on the bench, and you have 3 of the best receivers in the NFL in Diggs, Thielen and Rudolph. And you don’t use them or know how to use them. You need to be replaced! ?

 I'm sure the Vikings coaching staff would be more than happy to use the mediocre Diggs and the receiver from Mankato if they had a QB who could throw them the ball. Zimmer knows what he has to work with, why do you think he wants to be run heavy? 

 

We have to face facts. Cousins is not that good and neither are the Vikings as a team. Just be happy they aren't the browns or the Bengals.

Dont forget one more important fact: the Vikings don’t have a win this season against a team with a winning record.
