And I don't remember the name of the movie  but Nicholas Cage played a soldier in the Crusades who had to transport an accused witch to another town. Ron Perlman was his partner

I started this after watching Dazed and Confused, thought about going straight bit parts in movie's.

Dazed.......Pitt in True Romance, Cage in Fast Times at Ridgemont High..........although he was Nicolas Coppola at that time.

But I  will stick to more leading roles

 

Ben Affleck - The Accountant/Dazed

Keanu Reeves - John Wick/Matrix......can't believe two of my favorite action movies of all time stars Reeves. With an honorable mention tossed in for Point Break.

Brad Pitt - Fight Club/Basterds

Robert Redford - Jeremiah Johnson/Three Days of the Condor

Chevy Chase - Caddyshack/Vacation

Nicolas Cage - Valley Girl/Raising Arizona

 

John Candy - Stripes

Because you said "favorite movie" and not "best performances" I'll have to go:

 

Ben Affleck - Dazed and confused.

Nicolas Cage - The Rock

John Candy - Uncle Buck. 

 

Best Performances:

Affleck: Argo

Keanu: The Matrix (He's actually really good in "Destination Wedding." as well... but it's a romcom)

Pitt: tough to pick... he's really good at acting. 

Robert Redford: see above

Chase: Caddyshack

Cage: lolz. Best performances are relative though... so I'll go.... Raising Arizona.

Candy: Uncle Buck.

Nicolas Cage - Conair or National Treasure but he's also done some really bad movies.
