IceHawk
Defense played well to keep us in it. Blair Walsh has been inconsistent all year and we needed him kapooooooow! We had that game all day to many missed opportunitys.

Bobby Bass
I was disappointed in the loss for about five seconds. This is not yet a championship caliper team but we made some pretty good headway. Beating the Pack for the division, big plus. Watching Teddy grow and finding a Defense worthy to be called MN. Digs is a find and we have ourselves a coaching staff. No ones goes far just on the toe of a kicker and everyone remember the last one you miss but Walsh hit three and was the offense for the day, he should have been kicking extra points not field goals. Way I look at it we are now only four months away from fishing season. reinhard1 and Boar

I think Walsh learned along time a go from Berger just to take the money when someone slips it to you, then to wait for a Snickers endorsement that never comes! Boar
exactly bob, the best running back in the leage? and cant get more than a few 1st downs? teddy stats since he started as QB, com on this ain all on walsh or the laces. we dominated with defense nd the offense was led by the kicker. not a superbowl team.....yet I agree we got a great coach now, young, hungry blood, we knew it was a building team, one more rung in the ladder as far as im concerned. MNice
Typical Vikings, snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Walsh took responsibility for the loss, which is more than Peterson will ever do. I think if the game is on the line, get 28 off the field, he cannot handle pressure, or the ball for that matter. Hopefully we've seen the last of 28. just my 2 cents. ThunderLund78
My 8 year old kind of disappeared for a few minutes after the game, when he reappeared he was sobbing and he cried with his head on my chest for a good 10 min. All I could do was tell him to buck-up if he wants to be a Vikings fan. I'm old and have come to expect it - but he's got a whole lifetime of disappointment and choking ahead of him. Poor kid. But then I told him that we have great coaching, a young developing team that's already playing way beyond it's talent and a pretty awesome stadium coming next year. If I were a smarter man, I'd stop caring; but I've come too far to turn back. Vikes fan 4-life and I already can't wait until next year. delcecchi
Just expect the worst, and sometimes you will be pleasantly surprised. I still remember my high expectations and deep disappointment when the Vikes with Purple People Eaters played KC Chiefs in their first super bowl. Vikes didn't just lose, but looked like fools doing it.
reinhard1
I say congratulations to the Vikings. 11-5 and Division Champs. Nobody seriously thought they would have that record this year. I said they would be better than the year before, and they will be much better next year. We have young talented players and a bright future with Zimmer and his staff. There will be changes made for the better and some of the players here today will be gone. I'm not hard on Walsh. They guy was the whole offense today. Laces in or out he should have made that chip shot but he didn't. I think he will be back next year and do well in the new stadium. Teddy will get better as well. I don't think Peterson or Paterson will be back next year. I've been a Viking fan for many years and will continue to be. This is not the same Viking team anymore as some like to say. We are going to be champions of not only the division but go a step further next year. good luck. jerkbait and Boar

With Teddy cracking 100yds passing yesterday they have nowhere to go but up... The fact of the matter is they played a cupcake schedule and never beat a 0.500+ team until they won at GB two weeks ago. Bridgewater was around the bottom of the QB rankings all season and Peterson only exceeded 70yds in two of the last eight games, fumbling at a critical moment of a playoff game. Did they take advantage of their powder puff schedule? Sure, but that did nothing but distort the reality of where this team is at competitively...and that's mediocre at best. When you cut through the smoke of the cheerleading and kool-aid drinking this Viking team is the same Viking team we've seen for the last 50+ years whether you want to admit it or not. If it makes you feel better to say they're not then knock yourself out, but you're only lying to yourself...the same thing Vikings fans have been doing for 50+ years.
