leechlake
I suppose I could call this your favorite meal but what fun is that. Let's say you end up in the pokey for murder, lose your case and end up on death row. Suddenly you get a little note card asking for your last meal aka Death Row Meal. Frankly, I wouldn't be that hungry but you get the point. My death row meal would be:Lamb Chops, roasted brussel sprouts, french bread with mint jelly condiment for the chops that are done rare. PS- I had a pork blade steak Saturday night done medium rare and on the rare side. As close to Lamb as possible at 1/4 the price, my new favorite. reinhard1
Bobby Bass
Hmmm HmmmOK I’ll BITE, Since this is my last meal I would have to go with the Bald Eagle Breast with Trumpet Swan legs and a half rack of White Rhino Ribs.I know that would be refused so my second choice would be, a nice porterhouse med rare, a stuffed baked potato with onions and butter, a side order of golden deep fried JUMBO shrimp with a a few slices of fried tatter and thick sliced roasted French bread. A beer in a frosted glass to start and one to finish with a brandy and a long long burning cigar! reinhard1, vermilionfox and Jim Almquist
Boar
oh thats easy Pu.mkine pie! for desert, but the main course is that they'd have to let me make it. Bear roast mashed potateos and gravey, i just dont know anything better, specially since it would take me back to best of times and the best people i associated with. id be at peace, and ready to meet my maker. bobberineyes
That's exactly what I was thinking boar, with all the cooking and grilling that all of us have come to , there really is no "final meal" that would put me at ease. Besides Bobby going out with protected game, I think I'll stick with something that has an opportunity to smell afterwards. .Sushi ...have fun cleaning me up in the end... reinhard1
RebelSS
I'd haveta go with Rachael McAdams or Reese Witherspoon covered in ice cream and sprinkles. Well, Ok, maybe a giant shrimp cocktail, too. smalliehunter and reinhard1
perchking
Double bacon cheese burger with all the fixins, when the needle hits my arm I would hope to have a little dribble yet on the side of my mouth for one last taste... my second choice would be a corned beef boiled dinner. reinhard1

bigbucks
Obviously VERY hypothetical, but I'll bite too or is it two?broasted chicken, probably a whole onemashed potatoes with butter, no gravy pleasewarm fresh breadboiled cauliflower, no cheeseice cold CokeFrench silk pie for desert with a cup of breakfast blend FolgersIt would be a tough call between that & just a HUGE serving of chicken alfredo, but I'd probably go that route. If I wanted to get back "afterwards" like bobberineyes is thinking, then it would have to be some type of Chinese buffet... bobberineyes and reinhard1
Duffman
I think I'd start off with some chips and Salma.

LindellProStaf
I would have to go with the thick Porterhouse done medium rare. Real cheesy au gratin potatoes. Onions sauteed with mushrooms in lots of butter since cholesterol won't matter anymore and lots of butter on the brussel sprouts too. For dessert I would like some strawberry cheesecake maybe some Rocky Road ice cream on the side and a snack of some good ol greasy salty potato chips since my health will no longer be an issue. I would like a nice Manhattan if that is allowed too. Man am I hungry now. Oh ya I want some butterflied shrimp too.... bobberineyes

ThunderLund78
Well, I don' think they do electrocutions anymore - which takes the fun out of what massive neural-trauma would do to a digestive tract. But if I were going to the chair, I'd probably eat a jar of pickled eggs and wash it down with the brine and a cold Schlitz. KABOOM!But my serious answer would probably lean towards a gastric incident anyway. Perhaps some good hand-crafted German sausage cooked with kraut. Beverage would be a good IPA - lately I've been really into Deschutte's Fresh Squeezed. reinhard1 and LindellProStaf
Crow Hunter
Probably pressed duck, with a nice wine. For dessert, a double chocolate cake. With a hack saw blade baked inside.
LindellProStaf
Duffman. Do you mean Salma Hayek? I'd go for that too. Might need some dip to go with those chips. leechlake
