Looks like the cold weather comfort food is breaking out!

 

Made my first ever Tortellini that was the stuffed with porcine mushrooms. I added sundried tomato pesto with some cut up sausage and fresh grated parmesean cheese!  My food taster said it was great!

dang that looks dynomite!!!!!!! yeppers.....the oven gets a workout this time of year, specially when its crappy outside .keeps the house warm too!!!!!! took out beef soup bones....gonna make me a big ole pot of beef veggie soup tomorrow!!!

Tried something new last night, kinda like a beef Wellington with a pork loin.

It was decent, but far from outstanding.

It's fun to try new stuff, sometimes you hit a home run and can't believe it could have possibly come out of your head?

My real problem is I never write anything down to reproduce it!

 like i tell my wife.......a reciepe is merely a suggestion!!!!!!! and i get the old eyeroll!!!!

 

i usually "modify" the reciepe if i did something to improve it!!!!!!!!

I would think a pork tenderloin would good that way vs pork loin...   worth a try!!!   as Glenn says there is always katchup and horsey sauce!!!
