Ok. Here is the scenario: you are awarded $25,000. I know most of the members of this site would gift it to charity, donate it to the gov to help pay down the deficient, etc - but the rules are "you must spend it on the perfect ice fishing vehicle". Let's hear what you would buy:

2004 mustang cobra

I saw a guy towing a ski boat with a newer corvette. laid down a ton of smoke pulling out of the launch and then caught the tongue at the top because there was about 4 inches worth of clearance.

You should be good with a plow mount and chains.

Have no clue what the weight is on a snow bear.... one for sale right now used for a little over 25.....that would be my first choice.....

but if heavy ....rig up the most lightweight 4 wheel drive vehicle with tracks and some sort of nebulus flotation deployment system....maybe even some sort of all wheel drive mini van, with tracks, flotation, and pop some holes in the floor wink

yeah dude. you gotta go custom. I'd rig up a conversion van with monster truck tires and drop down hydraulics. purple velvet interior.

This was up on an online auction sale in Michigan. 17K for a 2002 Subaru WRX with tracks. Spend the rest on a roof rack and trailer hitch, and a trailer for your gear.

I'm torn. It would either have to be a Wilcraft, or a new ATV and Canvas Craft NorthlanderATT, which looks sweet: http://canvascraftinc.com/sites/all/themes/canvas/images/northlander/att/att.pdf

Either way, with the leftover money I would hire a car service so I had a sober-cab for the drive home - because I would certainly be feeling festive with any of these new toys.

A wrx wagon with that setup would be pretty tight, then yo.u wouldn't need a trailer.

A new sled or ranger would be nice.

I wouldnt spend a dime of it a permanent that's 4 sure!
