Who would of thought that going into the 15th game of the year, the Vikings are right in the mix for a play-off spot?!

Tough game on the road against the Texans...I heard on the radio today that the average margin of victory for the Texans at home is @ 20 points. They're 12-2 and an 7.5 point favorite.

I'm calling for the upset...

Ponder goes for 200+...

AP goes for 150...

...and the defense wins the turn-over battle to squeak one out.

Peterson gets his yards due to forcing carries. But they have no choice but to give AP the ball, below average QB with awful WRs. It truly is amazing that AP has been this succesful on an otherwise inept offensive team.

Texans will be tough at home, Andre Johnson and Foster, pretty solid combo, can our D really rise up against these guys, feel we scored well last week, we're do for less points this week, we'll surely see max effort, Ponder will need to connect when he has the chance to connect. Thinking the Texans are poised and ready, playoff bound, confident at home. 31-17 Texas.

Speaking of Wilf haven't seen or heard really anything from him this year ? I've had this thought a long time now, if we would've put the effort into Sage Rosenfels would we have more or less wins plus another top draft pick instead of ponder, would we have been just as well off ? I had some faith in him when we aquired him and Brett Favre put an end to his shot here so to speak, I had some Kerry Collins like faith lol.

Only a handful of times in the last 20 years have a team that lost the last game of the year went on to win the superbowl.

With that said this game is less important to Houston than us.

They would rather win next week against Indianapois. They want to win both, but why risk injuries this week.

I feel Houston will push hard early against the Vikes then be in "oh well" mode.

They are still getting a bye week and if they win this week that means they can rest their starters for 2 weeks, then comes the rust vs. rest argument.

Am I EXPECTING a Vikes victory? No

Would I be surprised? No

Am I hoping for a victory. Yes

My prediction on a late field goal by Blair Walsh to put us over the top with a 23-21 Win.

I think the vikes can make a game of this and possibly even pull it off. texans are not as good as their record shows. I don't expect the vikes to win it but would not be surprised. while not at home, the defense plays pretty well indoors.

That pretty much sums it up right there. We arent going to have the ball enough for Peterson to get that many carries. I dont think he will break 100.

I never commented, or thought they would win. However, I had lost all faith in this team 3 weeks ago and said fire Frazier and bench ponder. Ponder still isn't good, but my hat is off to Frazier and his staff and the rest of the team. My crow is simmering in the pot, should be done soon.

Holy smoke! That was fun to watch. Good game for Ponder guy should get married every week. Only thing I didn't like was Leslie having Adrian sit at the end. Would have been nice to get him at least 100.
