Lots of fun this winter with my son with new sklls learned on his part

We ventured to Devils Lake for the first time

And capped of the season with a 20+ minute battle on four pound test on Lake Waconia. 40" long, estimated weight is 25 pounds.

Looks like open water but is really 3" of ice covered by a thin skin of water. Looks open from shore but is actually just a lineup of unusual conditions.
