Musky Buck
Kinda bizarre read a minute ago SF #1 in power rankings according to Brian Billick who's prowess was offense although D got him a ring, anyway, he stated Alex Smith and this Kaepernick or whoever he is and how Colin gives SF more explosion or something on offense, then isn't it time to let Joe Webb have a shot, give Ponder a few weeks off to absorb again. Pack in a blowout unless Percy goes 100+ with that opening kickoff, then just 42-21 pack wins. We could be talking futility with the Vikes if it wasn't for Percy and the new kicker. Not a Packer fan at all but I can't ignore reality, we peaked in was it week 3 against SF?

SkunkedAgain
I'm not super high on the Packers right now. Their offensive line is woefully bad since Bulaga went down for the season. TJ Lang held is a guard. He did decent as a rookie at LT but looks completely lost at RT. There are other OL problems but it starts there. However, I think that Rodgers will have his way with the Vikings secondary because they can't do what the Giants did, which is take away the quick pass and then get to the QB quick. Minnesota doesn't have the right personnel in the secondary to do it correctly. While both teams took a licking last Sunday, I think that Minnesota will continue on with status quo while Green Bay will be out for blood. No score prediction but it won't be a close game. Packers win.
JackPineGuy
I think the vikings do what they do best and upset the packers and keep the race a lil closer. but in the end fail ta make that oh so close wild card spot. they really needed ta beat chicago in the tie breaker game last week. The vikes would have ta win againts the packers and bears at next to games and beat st louis become 9-7 just ta have a shot. And its not going ta happen. zepman
See last weeks score against the Bears. Much like the Bears...I think the Vikes have a very good chance at splitting with the Packers. This weeks game is on the road...no chance with this team unless they are +3 in the turn-over margin. That still might not be enough...field goals will not beat Rogers in Lambeau. B. Amish
only way vikes have a chance is if they win turnover ratio like 5:1.
basssmasher*
I like Jim's thinking, but I don't think it will be that much we win by!! lol Jim did you spike your purple Kool-aid by chance?? Vikes 23 - pack
FutbolGuru
This is a tough one to predict. In all honesty though, I'd have to guess 50-0 Vikes (AP for 375 yds, 7 TDs, 2pt conversion)

PurpleFloyd
I would not be surprised to see the packers win by something like 48-10.
Stratosman
Me neither... but considering this is for their playoff chances... I will say they will step it up a bit and onl lose 35-10. Gonna be a rough one I have a feeling unless AP runs for 250 and we win the turnover margin like 3-0. even then...

fishersofmen
Definetely didn't see it being this close so far. Fact is the Packers are a terrible team as well, without Rogers they would be a laughing stock. They better look for a new FG kicker because Crosby is a joke. Looks like he is about to wet his pants every time he steps on the field.

96trigger
I like the way crosby has been kicking. Hope he kicks like that all game. At least its a good game. Hope it turns into a great game. The refs have given the pack plenty of gifts also. That late hit call was awful, but, you wouldn't be true packer fans if you couldn't blame a loss on the refs. So you whine about a call and with the same breath accuse Packer fans of whining about the calls.
aanderud
I love how they stack 10 guys up against a run and ponder's not smart enough to audible into a passing play. Isn't the 3rd and 1 situation a perfectly good example of a reason a team would go and pay 8 million to their tight ends? Isn't the 1-yard pass almost impossible to defend against? Especially with play action? I just don't get it.
snoozebutton
I don't think either one of these teams will go far in the palyoffs and I say playoffs because one of them will make it by default.
fishersofmen
Anyone else having audio problems? The backround noise is super loud but can barely hear the announcers. What a treat to watch Adrian run the ball. Wow!Get Ponder out of this game now!!!! 96trigger
Difference between me and every packer fan, is I know its part of the game and if we lose, won't blame the refs, can't say the same for packer fans.Ponder is awful. I was all for hanging in there with him, and stuck up for him on many occasions, but he is just really, really, playing bad.

That guy is a stud, doing what he does with no other offense to speak of. Reminds me of barry sanders getting so many yards on the terrible lions teams. I agree on getting ponder out too. Can't see Webb playing any worse. Why have a backup quarterback if the thought of using him is so far off limits that you wouldn't do it in THIS type of situation. No completions in 30+ game minutes? No completions to a wide receiver at all in 3.5 quarters (and counting)? How many interceptions?
MontanaMax
In pregame interviews Ponder said HE had to stop making turnovers. 2 INTs in the redzone is exactly what he knows he cannot do. This guy has become a real liability being in the game. Send him and Crosby to the same shrink but get them BOTH off the field!!!!
aanderud
In the pregame interview he apparently told Troy Aikman that the play action pass wasn't working for them. If the play action isn't working it's usually because you have no credible running game. I guess if it's not working with the best rusher in the league, Ponder should look in the mirror to figure out why.

grizrunner
Ha announcers quoted Frazier from pregame saying they might be looking for some help at WR. What they need is some help for their coaching staff. Musgrave should be gone tomorrow. Frazier is a puppet and I wouldn't be surprised if he'd be on the chopping block after the season. You just simply cannot put the blame on the WR's, even if they aren't the most talented bunch. If this coaching staff makes it to next season, you can wave goodbye to Percy.
