Like archerystud, weird for me. Like him i seen ALOT of deer the 2 weeks prior to gun. Then they just disappeared.

On the plus side my bride of 15 years had her very first deer season ever. She seen at least 1 deer on every set and chose to pass on a spike last weekend (had to be a forked horn at mn HER CHOICE). She hunted every evening during mid week while i worked.

Oh wait thats more than one word.

OK Mediocre.

Cant answer in one word due to varying seasons and hunting different locations.... smile

Archery hunting prior to firearms season. It was fair at best. Saw a few deer. Passed on a couple young bucks. No other opportunities for harvest.

Firearms season... bottom of the barrel bad at our farm. I saw one deer total over 2 weekends at our farm in Ottertail County.

Hunted at home and saw 5 deer during the week. So that was Ok.
