Cub foods on Old Shakopee and France in Bloomington has irregular cut hardwood smoked bacon for .99 a pound no coupon or limit. I use it when grinding game and various wraps for the grill or in soups. Also bake a pound and make bacon bits for salads and stuff. Good flavor!

Cub Foods has an advertised sale for Pork Back Ribs at $2.88/lb

Picked some up for the freezer yesterday, as well as some for the grill.

Was a heck of a Sunday dinner- 30 degrees and grilling in Jan- who knew.

Cub has had 5 pound bags of Thick Cut Apple Smoked Bacon for 3.99 a pound for a few weeks. I consider myself a bacon expert and this stuff is good and for 3.99 a pound a no brainer. Picked up a third bag yesterday.

I was at Cub Foods in Champlin today and they had the "Managers Special" for $3 off of each steak on some NY Strips left over from the weekend. I picked up 9 of them for around $3.50-$4.50 a steak. All were at least 3/4# or more. There was a bunch left. I'm not a huge fan of re-freezing steaks, but I'm going to eat OK this weekend. Going to do a surf & turf with some Red Lake walleyes!
