On the Canadian TV show "The Trailer Park Boys" the character named "Bubbles" pronounces Sasquatch "Samsquanch".

Earlier this year, the crew from Animal Planets "Finding Bigfoot" tv show was up in Wright, MN looking for the beast. I guess theres been some sightings around the area. The show should air sometime after January 1st.

If you get a kick out of stuff like that, you MUST watch the movie "Escanaba in da Moonlight."

The movie is set at a deer camp in the UP, and Jeff Daniels is "da buckless Yuper" trying to shoot his first buck. When the wife and I watched it for the first time, we laughed so hard we had to keep pausing it to wipe the tears away. You know how they have the reasons for movie ratings listed? Like violence, language, or whatever? On "Escanaba in da Moonlight" it says it's rated R for "uncouth humor." Only move I've ever seen that rating justification on.

It's utterly hysterical.
