Have you seen a Bobcat in the last 3 years in Minnesota?

Yes. I saw my first one this year in the Backus area. The best part about it was seeing it catch a grouse. One of the coolest things I've ever witnessed!

At least I had something going on while the deer were all cozy in their beds with all of the wind!

Just South of Togo last year on December 23rd taking the back way up to Red Lake. With my godson and friend one crossed the Hwy about 100 yards in front of us. It stopped about 5 feet into the woods for about 30 seconds so we got a real good look.

I was hunting with my buddies in Aitkin last weekend, Their Neighbors were in their stands during the week and all of the sudden heard the most blood curddling screeming that lasted about 20 minutes. 2 days later they found a pile of leaves and hair. Something had killed a small doe and hid it under leaves and whatnot. They set up a trail camera and found out it was a bobcat. It was really large. Pretty cool seeing the kill site. It would come and eat part of the deer everynight after it took it down.

Three years ago and two years ago on opening morning of deer season, even wrote the dates down on the wall of my heated stand. The sighting two years ago walked right up toward my stand, it got to within fifty yards, sat down for a minute then got up and walked away. My father in law usually is able to trap a couple each year. Really cool to see in the wild.
