For years I have told the wife (jokingly) I am getting a buck on one cheek and a bear on the other. She called me on it, any one with any cool ideas. (not sure i can pull the trigger on this, although it is fun to joke about with her)

you could get bucks on both sides, then when you flex your butt cheeks they would spar.

There is a guy that works at TB with an underwater scene on the side of his head. It's got a big bass and maybe on sunny on there. I'm not a tattoo guy, but it's pretty cool to see on somebody else.

Last summer I had a cover up tatoo put on. In college I got 2 chinease symbols on the outside of my lower leg in the calf region. They symbolized family & friends. After a few years I started to get the regret. I mean, I am not even Asian, or know the language, so I decided to get them covered up. What I did was had an artist blend them into looking like rocks, and draw a big walleye coming out. It is a pretty cool tat, and I appreciate it way more than chinease symbols. I also got a football tated on my arm from the days when I played college ball at Bemidji State! That one dont bother me either cause I love football....

Duffman, I wonder if you're talking about me? I have an exact traced grouse feather that spans the length of my outer calf...

I have a cover-up being worked as well, a bear paw on my chest.

My last is going on this winter, grouse tracks working down and around my left arm.

Jarrid, I hear you on the regret for Chinese symbols... hence my cover up. Also, go Beavers!!

My dream for the longest time was to get a flock of geese cupped and committed spreading across my back and coming in for a landing. Still kind of wish I'd done it, but the older I get, the less importance it has to me. Now I'd rather get a tat of my dog when he passes. Him on a staunch point with a grouse flushing out front. Hopefully that's many, many years down the road, but it's the one tattoo I'd honestly consider getting now.

Some young people (and old people as well) don't actually think it's a mistake. Some even think it's a great decision, and area really glad to have made it. I think there have been some good ideas put forth so far, and probably some more to come...

It's their body, and beauty is in the eye of the beer-holder, right?

I believe the phrase "Cool Tattoo" in an oxymoron. Don't encourage young people to make a mistake that lasts a lifetime!

It's kind of like "great marriage" then? wink

I love my grouse tat, and will never regret it I'm sure. If I do, I'll just get another tat to cover it up... wink I love the artwork, and I would have a 3/4 sleeve of ink if I didn't think it would affect my job. I'd probably have long hair and some handlebars on my 'stache too... smile

Not huntable wildlife, but for my wife's birthday a couple years back I got us these matching tatts. They are very low on the back of the neck. Not visible with T-shirt or collared shirt, but visible with tank top.

My first tattoo, and I was 47. I've got two others planned, but neither are wildlife. A Celtic triangle on one deltoid and a Celtic circle on the other.
