Are you cry babies kidding me. Three plays that had to be challenged, two by Green Bay, the other by the officials, all overturned. Are the officials that blind to make those calls wrong initially, I don't think so, the TD by Harvin wasn't even close yet the officials were more than willing to put their hands up. You guys never change.

Well the Vikings lose another one they had a chance to win. Probably should have won. Shoulda, coulda, woulda...

Having some of the best players in the league does nothing for you when you bring in toolbag like Childress for a coach, and keep him around. Vikings are on life support now, a couple more weeks and it may be time to pull the plug. Even with a loss next week against New England, it could be a wash for the purple peter eaters; Packers have a tough game at NY Jets. The team built for this year may have the sun setting on them.

With the beating Fret Bavre been taking, it may be Spud Webb time when the Packers come rolling into town in a few weeks.

Did anyone see when Clay Matthews took his helmet off during a play and not get penalized for it. How do you not see that from an officiating standpoint. I am with you all when Chilly decides not to try to make a play before halftime with time left on the clock and timeouts to burn. He said they tried it once and that was enough. Moss has got to be going crazy. I think he'll be gone at seasons end, Chilly will drive him nuts.

childress has got to go. the half time charade with time left reminded me of green protecting a halftime lead[3points] with time left. i could also see moss shaking his head. what does that tell the players. no confidence. good luck.

Lets see, the refs stunk it up for #1. These guys were bad to say the least.

Our offensive line really stunk it up also. If Farve would have had the time that Rodgers did, they would have scored 50 points.

Our defensive line has forgot how to be a good D line. Other teams have our D line figured out and our coaching staff changes nothing.

Farve through a few intercepts and was hurried the whole game due to our poor O line.

Overall, we were coached poorly and it showed.

I won't even talk about taking a knee right b-4 half time. I guess we would rather just quit than try.

Go Childress you loser.

How many games does a coach have to lose for you to get a new one?

12 men in the huddle....AGAIN.

How come he challenges every single play that is clearly the right call but never challenges the ones that are clearly the wrong call? We gave them guys a free TD.

30 seconds with 2 timeouts and we let the clock run after AP just broke a nice run.

Would be nice to have a good coach right now, we'd have a Superbowl ring and we'd be easily sitting on top of the NFC North this year.

We get out coached every single game, it get annoying, especially when you get out coached by another junk coach.

I think our O-line did pretty well. Sure farve got a little pressure on him but not like last weeks. They are improving. I think Farve was only sacked once and that was his fault for hanging onto the ball for 5 seconds. Our d-line is getting blocked. I would have like to see a few blitzes. The vikes had plenty of chances but old Brett is looking his age and is probably regretting coming back. At this point I hope he gets suspended and T-Jack gets a shot. He would at least scramble for first downs instead of forcing interceptions......

Our play at the line of scrimmage really needs to improve. I'm not sure if it's the blocking schemes or if the plays are just that easy for the defense to read, but there needs to be some changes made as this is 6 games now and there really hasn't been any improvement. I think we need some new play designs on offense. Not necessarily gadget plays, but just something with a unique look that gets the defenses guessing a bit. Something like having Peterson run more traps, and trying to limit defensive pursuit.

It takes a true optimist to say your 2-4 team is one game behind a 4-3 team. If you beat the Pats next week and the Pack lose, won't you still be half a game out at 3-4 vs 4-4? Math sure is tough stuff when your thinking is clouded by purple KoolAid! gringringrin

Guess you Vikes guys put that bye week in the W column, eh? Sounds like Chilly-logic to me. wink

It's all in how you look at at. wink Being a "true Vike's fan" you learn and know complaining is useless, comparing this to that has nooo effect on the out come what so ever and loosing, no matter how good things are, is always a possibility. wink Oh, and also never to get wrapped up in a loss too much. wink

One other thing I haven't seen mentioned, but Favre panicked after he fell on that last play, and immediately decided Moss was his only option. I'm not sure how many saw it, but it was either Shiancoe or Berrian waving his hand wide open under the right upright. If Favre had even taken a millisecond to scan the field, that last play likely ends up a touchdown.

Oh man, where do I start? How about here:

I think our O-line did pretty well.
Really? Because the Packers three best defensive linemen didn't play in the game (Pickett played the first 2 series, Jenkins scratched during warm-ups, and Jolly out for the season). The Vikings offensive line played the majority of the game against a rookie and two 2nd year players, only one of which has any playing time under his belt (Raji). The Vikings offensive line should be disgusted with how it plays. It all starts with the line and it showed.

AP is a monster. All Packer fans were worried when AP started getting the ball. He was chewing us up. Then they let Favre throw the ball and it was an instant pick. The whole point of bringing in Favre was to be a compliment to Peterson. The Vikings consistently use Peterson as a second option or after thought.

**Referees**

They blew many, many calls for both teams. It's incredible the amount of purple crying about officiating. Both teams got hosed in their own right. Let's look at a few:

- The Shiancoe catch was a great play and in my football mind should be a touchdown (like the Calvin Johnson catch). However, the nose of the ball hit the ground AND SHIFTED into Shiancoe's body as he hit the ground. Per the rules, that is not a catch. The ref's got it right.

- The Quarless catch should have been reversed. However, when you look at all of the TD calls that were initially ruled incorrectly, this falls on Childress for his non-use of the flag. Vikings hosed.

- The Randy Moss touchdown was a pick play and should have been called. Harvin clearly lowered his shoulder and ran into Woodson, knocking him to the ground. He then ran into Williams as well. That is a classic pick play and should have been called. If the Packer players had run into one another then it would be a clean play. Packers hosed.

- The Randy Moss offensive pass interference call was weak. It was technically pass interference since he did push off, but that normally falls into the realm of "letting them play." Vikings hosed.

- The Madieu Williams endzone interception should also not have happened. The refs missed an egregious pass interference on Jennings by Frank Walker. Jennings would have likely caught the TD if not for being held and pushed by Walker. Even if not, it should have been a pass interference call giving the Packers first and goal inside the 10 yard line. The actual result was a Williams pick and the Viking's ball on the 20. Packers hosed.

- Both teams got away with a number of uncalled holds. In the end, you can point to whatever you want but both teams got hosed on calls.

No matter what, this was an ugly game for both teams. Both misfired on offense and played bad defense. Either team was going to come out with a win over another bad team. Neither team has beaten a team of consequence (save for the Eagles in Week 1) so neither team truly came out a winner.

Vikings blew a chance to steal a win. Refs didn't have a great game, but if you want to count on them to make/not make calls for your team to win the game, you probably aren't the better team and need the help from the refs. Sure the refs missed some calls, but the big calls (well other than the Quarless TD) were correctly overturned. It just so happened it was all Vikings TD that was overcalled, but they were correct. It was the Vikings coaching staff own fault for not reviewing the 3rd down TD catch by Packers.

Looks like the Vikings team built for title run this year is destined to be another failure. Time for them to bring in Webb and let him start getting some playing time, start preparing for 2011 and beyond.

Lets face it. Neither team looks good, kind of like the central division in baseball. The NFC north looks like a 1 & done in the playoffs this year.

I'll agree with that at this point in the season. Unless someone in the North starts putting it together day in and day out on the field over the next couple months, we're going to be watching other divisions after round one.

Of course, anything can happen in the playoffs. wink

Why give up on the season already? If they can just get a win next week, and the pack lose they are right back in it. Remember we got these guys again and in the dome. Yes they look pretty bad, but still not close to being out of it. Plus the addition of rice later in the year will help a lot. Also at this point any teams that makes it to the playoffs has a good chance of winning. There are no dominating NFC teams this year, and anybody can beat anybody.

Even though neither team looks good i still think whichever one make the playoffs will have a good chance of going deep. Both teams have talent, and if you look at the NFC there are no teams that are dominating. Anyone can beat anyone right now. Seems like every game ive been watching this yr has been a good close game.

Yeah I'll never understand it, AP is a beast, when we give him the ball we move down the field everytime. Then all of a sudden we think we need to start to pass every play. I can't stand it. Our coach is the worst in the league hands down. Can't wait until we get a new one because we will be really tough to beat.
