Antero
Did the Jets just beat the Pats with Moss? I think it was 28..14, Jets
birdswacker
It's a good trade if he does his job like running out his routes and not being afraid of catching a pass up the middle.

pikestabber
I am as happy as anyone to get this deal done, but VERY disappointed by this: We traded Jayme Mitchell for a third rounder to Cleveland to make room on the roster... Mitchell was the MVP (IMO) of our pre-season... Why not cut Baskett...or Berrian for that matter? Not happy about that, but only a minor irritation in a sea of great news! SKOL! My bad...no news on what round pick it is we got...almost certainly not a third rounder. I was combining the parts of the story! In any case, still not sure why the heck we are keeping Bag-Squat on the roster...
Ryan_V
I'm also betting that Favre's "knocked-down" and "sack" numbers are rising too. With that horrible O-Line he's going to get smoked back there trying to set up the bombs to Moss. As seen in the first three games he's been getting pounded just trying to get off a quick pass to the slant. I think the Moss deal will come back to bite them sooner than later. Agree 100%... Unless we solidify our O-line, not much matters if we're always picking Favre up off the ground after a D-lineman blows right through McKinney and Brett can't get the pass off.... If we can give him time in the pocket, with Moss down field, Rice up the middle, and Percy drawing defenders everywhere, it will be a VERY entertaining rest of the season!!! Don't forget Shaincoe slipping in the seam. I agree with those 4 receivers, life looks pretty darn good. Should help AP out immensely as well. Sadly it's a moot point if the Oline plays like they have. Get those big boys to slam a 6 pack of RedBull and let's get a-movin'.

DTro
I just heard that we also got a 7th back from NE in 2012. What a sweet deal!

DHK
We gave up a third round pick for the best deep threat to ever lace them up. He's exactly the short in the arm the team needs. Not wanting him back is silly.
DHK
They let him go because the owner Red McCombs was selling the team and didn't want to pay Moss a multi million dollar bonus he was owed.
Getanet
Cancel the season, give the Lombardi trophy to the Vikes, why wait, it's a foregone conclusion! Then we wouldn't get the satisfaction of watching us beat the Packers twice. Don't take all the fun out of it!
kaz2611
good pick up now benard berrian can start packing his bags for his departure as soon as sydney rice gets healthy. MOSS, RICE, PETERSON,SHIANCOE, OH YEAH AND THE OLD MAN FAVRE . Now if this isnt enough for the offensive line to get excited and start protecting favre then they should be sent packing also. Dark Cloud
Maybe im forgetfull but I seem to remember... when Moss left last time there were alot of "fans" happy? They were glad to see the cry-baby who never gave his all be gone... Somewhere there has to be that pict of him pouting on the sidelines with his gloves attached to his facemask? pinkfloyd4ever
I can't believe it, already made my bet for the Vikes winning the superbowl! LOL if they win or lose, i basically win the bet either way with the gal

pinkfloyd4ever
All I know is Tice had the perfect fake FG play, that one where Moss pouts on the field that they are gonna kick a FG, then bolts to the endzone on the snap for a catch. Don't remember how it went down though, other team called a TO, or we had 12 on the field, think it was the 12 on the field
skee0025
Dont count your "sweet deals" yet. Moss was up to his "play when i want to" diva gigs in NE. They must be laughing with joy right now. They found a team desperate enough to take that azz clown off their hands right now. I dont think he is going to be hapy here for long once he figures out that he will be playing second fiddle to AP. SFC
AP must be loving this deal. What is he predicting like 2500 to 2800 yards this year,450 against the pack?
Coach1310
It is gonna be a GREAT deal for the Vikes in the short term. Moss will be motivated to stick it to NE and all the other haters. Now... down the road we will see.I don't think you sign him for the long term yet..... he is playing for a contract right now and almost every guy in pro sports has a career year when playing for a contract! Sorry its a no brainer and a great deal. Play it off anyway you want but that is reality.
LMITOUT
Let's see....Oakland gives up a 1st round pick (#7 overall) for Moss which the Vikings then use to draft ol' butter fingers Troy Williamson.Patriots get Moss from Oakland for a fourth rounder.Patriots get a 3rd rounder in trade for Moss to the Vikings. So the Patriots used Moss for a couple of years and then sold a disgruntled, aging WR for higher than what they paid. Looks like the Patriots made another brilliant move. They mastered the draft this spring and have put themselves into a great position for the draft next year. Nobody works the draft and player market like the Patriots.
