Age This Buck.

I'll go with 3 years old and the score at 145-150 maybe. Seems the tines are not that long and there are a few deductions. Seems that it has good mass but hard to tell with the velvet still on.

It's a shooter for sure. Good luck on harvesting him.

120+ a 19inch inside spread....Gross he'll score 139. he's got major side to side deductions, but who cares right?! smile

in my opinion; he's 4 /14. his beams carry mass all the way, and his right H1 measurement will be over 6 inches!

My guess. 4.5 yrs. old. Perhaps just over 140 inches. Might push 150. Boy do I love the mass on his right side base. No way you can get your hand around that! Seems to take up half the top of his skull!

The palmation of the main beams on both sides will add some inches as well. Kinda looks like Father and son, or perhaps older brother and younger brother? They've both got the same palmation of the main beams.

He's a dandy!

hind end is jacked up and long legs, start of a pot belly and not much for shoulders i'd say 3 1/2. compared to the 2 1/2 year old next to him there's not alot of difference other than width and mass of the rack.

I agree. Still has a long face, pointed nose. Front shoulders are not very bulked up yet as they would be on a 4 1/2 year old. All you guys looking at the mass, he's still in velvet, there's no way to judge mass till he loses that.

Maybe just a 3.5 yr. old, but I think we'll have to agree to disagree on the "mass" subject. Velvet or not, this fella's got fairly substantial palmation on both sides, and if you look closely at his right base in the second picture down, it's at least as wide, if not wider than the widest part of his right ear! He's got significant mass even under the velvet. Take away the velvet and I'll bet you still can't get your hand 3/4 around that right base.

His right brow is coming more out of the right base than it is out of the beam. Makes him double wide right there. Very cool!

Not perfect symmetry, but he's still a great deer. Hope to see you holding up that rack in a pic this fall, Haver! He may not make B & C, but he's a beauty!

He will gross in the 140's might even push the 150 mark. I don't think that there is anyway he scores below 140. I would guess based on antler size alone, that he is all of 4.5 years old. The palmation is awesome, tine length is lacking, and symmetry will kill him on the net score, but who cares about net score. He will make P&Y easy if you can get him with an arrow.
