How many boats?

How many boats do you have? I see some guys have river boats and some with their big hp and some with their 15hp ( which is my big hp). How many working fishable boats do you have and how many do you use? I have the one at the moment and working on #2!

Sitting at the cabin right now:

Tracker Pro Guide V-16 (75HP Merc 4 Stroke)

14 Foot Ward's Sea King (7.5HP Merc)

12 Foot ?????? (4 HP Mariner when my uncle is around, otherwise row baby row)

And some Pelican paddle boat (which is actually fairly fishable, my brother and I got some funny looks when we carried that into a motor-less lake).

They all get used at some point throughout the year.

Those 14-16 ft alum with 15-25 motor are a great setup. Classic, Simple, Versitile. Tough to beat for the price.

I'd have an affordable aluminum boat and 25hp motor if I had a place to keep one, but alas I'm still apartment-bound in minneapolis.

At least I'm saving on gas every time I'm out on the water though

14' Alumacraft - Unknown mid 70's? for hunting I suppose (VERY SHALLOW could be used for rivers or hard to reach lakes.... It's basically a canoe with a flat back end.)

the 6hp Evinrude does double duty at this point in time! I just need to either fix that 15hp or look for something bigger for the main rig!

I would really like a bigger boat, something in the 16'-18' range with a 100+ HP four stroke so I could fish big water like leech and vermilion effectively. Preferably a big tiller motor. Nothing like holding 150hp in the palm of your hand

I'm a tiller guy too. My old boss had a 150 tiller on the yarcraft he won the wave wackers on mille lacs in 2008 I believe it was. 50 grand would be nice right now!
