Anyone see any fawns yet or are we still a few days out?

I haven't seen any yet but they are out there, just laying low for a while.

Saw one during my WS turkey hunt, May 6th. Thought that was pretty early.

Saw a doe last night with a huge milk sack and no swollen belly. Obviously she has dropped hers already.

Still getting a few very pregnant does on the cameras... it shouldn't be long now.

Son seen one last week in a field with mom. I was actually surpised there already bringing them out. But he was sure it had spots.

I saw 2 laying dead on the side of I35 north of the metro. Looked like mom got shmucked and they popped out. Bad deal.

My bud saw a doe with triplets last week.

Had one within 5 feet of me at work the other day.I could hear mom in the woods calling for it.

Almost stepped on one last weekend. Its weird how they hold like that. They must not have to much scent to them that early?

My buddy did step on one a few years ago while turkey hunting. He about soiled himself, dang that was funny. It got up & stumbled into the woods.

Actually when they are born they are pretty much scent free otherwise they would easily be picked off by predators. Hmmmmm I wonder if I could make some $$$ selling scent free fawn suites to hunters?

Saw a few over the weekend, and they aren't to mobile yet. Good to see them though.

Had one in my yard this morning with mom. Was awesome to see and the kids thought it was really neat to see. Saw 2 other ones while wheeling up north last week. They were much smaller than one I seen today, always good to see though.

saw one this morning when I left my driveway. It was drinking out of the puddles on the road, maybe a week old at most, cute little guy.

Saw two today. One crossing a road and just about stepped on the other one walking through the woods. Got a pic a week and half ago of a doe still carrying
