KMR85
The Who are terrible. Maybe they could have pulled off a halftime show in the seventies.

picksbigwagon
I thought Daultry pulled it back together towards the end, but yeah that stunk it up pretty bad............Goes to show that the Prince half time a couple years ago was even more outstanding than I had thought
foulpole18
At least there wasn't a wardrobe malfunction. Ick.
Jarrod32
The Who remain the greatest rock and roll band to ever walk the face of the earth. But yeah, they have lost a notch or two in their old age. Where was the guitar smash into the speaker? And did I see that there were two bass players necessary to replace John Entwhistle? Zeppelin is better imo and I don't consider them the greatest.
DTro
See what happens when you don't lip sync? I give them credit for actually doing a live show. I thought the show was solid, especially for their age.
picksbigwagon
The only wardrobe malfunction I saw was a certain guitar player's coat continually getting in the way......ICK on that

Shack
Best half time I have seen in awhile. I agree, it sure beets anything the lip-sync generation can swing right now.
KMR85
If people are pleased with that halftime show, I should go into the music business. I could make millions off you guys
Shack
You are not going to make any money off me I have not had a drive to go to a concert in almost ten years and I buy a c/d about once a year and it is from a group prior to 1988 The 90's had some good music though. I did buy a Zack Brown CD last winter/spring. Heck, most days I find myself in car my with the radio off. That or thank god for Internet and sat. radio. Them choosing the Who to play half-time just shows what music has to offer now-a-days I will say their drummer does have a similar look to Keith Moon. Ybone
Here's the conversation I had earlier today. "Who's doing the halftime show."I don't know""I don't know does it next year""What""What did it last year.""I'm confused""They've never did it. Who's doing it this year""Who?""Yes"
harvey lee
I didnt even bother to watch the old timers.
Gissert
I thought they did fine. Live music is supposed to have rough edges, and this was surely that, LOL. No lip syncing, and Pete's guitar playing is still solid. I think Roger had a little electronic help on the scream for Won't Get Fooled Again. To roll a stage out in an open air stadium, and try and go from zero to sixty right off the bat has to be tough. Entwisle being gone was really apparent. There are not many bassists who can pull of his style.

Shack
I didnt even bother to watch the old timers. Ha! "Tommy, Can you feel me?" said the doctor to Harveylee at his latest physical examination. Hey, not that long ago the who did steal the show in NewYork: "> " type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">
Shack
This is what made the Who, the "The Who". Watch the end, it is the best part is at the end with Tommy Smothers. The look on his face is priceless : "> " type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">

pegleg
I told my 15 year old daughter that The Who was the first concert I went to as a kid... She said she didn't realize I was that old. They sounded great in the '70's.

Yet, those youngsters follow this now-a-days : And this to them looks ridiculous : I guess I can see their point! Today's "ridiculous" is yesterdays "normal". Those are the examples why I dont come out of the house except for fishing and work. At least I have the last example to lie back on for confort and my record albums.
