Juneau4
OK --then whose going to be the QB next year if there is a season. Maybe Vince Young will be available? Don't think him and Fischer get along very well, but then he and the Titans owner are real close.
OLY
I really hate when people say things like "take away a few of rices outstanding catches" how about take away a few of tjacks picks then the stats look pretty good. It goes both ways, bottom line is we won the game and this team is better of with brent on the sidelines.

james_walleye
Eating crow after a game including 3 INT's? Hahaha! He made some good throws. He made some bad throws. I dont hardly see how that game equates to anything other than what we have seen in the past.
LMITOUT
It's obvious that the Vikings don't have much faith in T-Jack and made it evident today with the signing of R.J. Archer.
tonkapat
The vikes have 2 hurt quarterbacks now thanks to a kickoff return and if favre can't go they have 1. That is why they signed him. The rosenfels trade is not looking good right now
FISHINGURU
99% of the state thought the Rosenfels trade was bad, everyone besides about 3 guys on a fishing HSOforum, Chilly, and Junksons mom.
zepman
Chilly should have been fired after the Rosenfels trade...it was personal...not in the best interest of the team.
bucketmouth64
Chilly should have been fired after the Rosenfels trade...it was personal...not in the best interest of the team. +1 Chilly never liked him from the start because he didn't approve of the trade. FISHINGURU
How ironic, we traded Rosenfels to the Giants and thats who we will be playing when we could really use him.

Dave S
Jackson wasn't totally at fault. That horrible offensive line showed up to play again.

harvey lee
Again, I hope T Junk plays the remainder of the season at QB. Then the Vikes will know he cannot be our future. He found out what it is like for Favre with no O line to protect him.Where was this great scambling QB??? zepman
TJack is not the future...with Chilly gone, I know they see that. With no hope for the playoffs I hope they give Webb a chance to see what he's got. He MAY be the future. It's painfully obvious that the Gerhart pick should have been an O-lineman...heck, even the Cook pick should have went to the o-line.Booker is proof positive that 3rd down backs are a dime a dozen in this league and you sure don't need to waste a top 2 or 3 round draft pick on that type of player. Vikings have ALOT of work to do this off-season...the players on this team are just not as good as advertised.
zamboni
Know what was more brutal than watching it tonight? Having to listen on the radio at work. I almost fell asleep welding. 2 interceptions right away, and we got squadush out of them. What a joke. Jackson was a Div II QB for a reason, and what on this mudball we call earth did someone think that a guy that couldn't cut it in Div I ball was going to be able to make it in the NFL? Childress made a couple great moves, but trading up to get Jackson was #1 in line of a ton of boneheaded moves he made.
Big Tom
Can we finally put to rest the idea that T-Whack has the skills to be a good NFL quarterback?
wishing for walleyes
Just wanted to bring this up in light of the nice game by T-Jack.... Enjoying your tasty crow T-Jack bashers. Many were predicting a Bills win and T-Jack goes in and leads us to our most lopsided win all season. A lot of pretty good throws and some pretty good reads as well. Some of you need to acknowledge you were wrong T-Jack did what a QB is supposed to do...win baby win. He doesn't look like our future but he looks like a serviceable back-up. If you want to bash then sidle up to your humble pie loaded with crow What happened to your star T-Junk last night.I think the crow gets passed right back to ya I think we waited all night for nothing to happen. One of the best plays was watching Joe Webb run. zamboni
With the very less than flattering things Leslie Frazier said about him after the game last night, he will NOT be around next season. Frazier put him down big time
thatoneguy
Anyone who thought Jackson was good in the Buffalo win either didn't watch the game, or knows nothing about football. Rice saved at least three HORRIBLE throws. He threw a pick 6 and threw 3 INT total. He missed wide-open receivers several times. The only reason some of the TJackhumpers were giddy is because MN won big, and he happened to be the QB that game.He is clearly not football-smart enough to make pre-snap reads and make good decisions. He missed FAR too many wide open targets, even on ridiculously simple throws ( I almost threw up when he missed Gerhart by 10 feet on that screen pass). He's mobile, but not nearly fast enough for it to make up for his other deficiencies.Jackson will - guaranteed - be gone after this season, so why give him snaps? Run Webb out there, let him learn from his mistakes, and see if it looks like he's worth keeping even as a long-term project.
