Taxidermy Fish Pictures

As a relatively new sponsor, I thought I would share some photos of my recent work. I promise not to flood this site with pics, but rather share a couple now and then, ie fish, bird, gamehead, of the month.

The two fish today are a 17" 2lb.14oz. black crappie from Minnesota and a spotted gar from texas.

Thanks for looking! BA

I don't want to be too critical as the mounts are excellent, but if I were to make a suggestion (and keep in mind, I'm just a layman), I'd prefer the tail of the crappie to be fully fanned. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Nice. Are those real or replica? How big is the gar?

These are both skin mounts. The gar was right at 8lbs., and about 36" long. Pretty good size for a spotted gar.

Very nice! I am generally not a fan of dead animal wall hangings but these really take you to the lake. You have to respect the art form that is done with the added pressure of being a once in a lifetime catch for most customers!
