Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

Vikes VS> Giants

Recommended Posts

It is time we put a thumping on them. We owe them from the last few years that is for sure. I do not care if there starters play a half, full game, we will thrash them. YOu will see a focused Vikes team and a very p........o....d AP. From all this garbage thrown on him by media/so called fans.

It looks as though the pros think the Vikes will come with their "A game". Vikes picked to win by 6.5! Also the Texans are picked to win by 1!

Didn't the vikes beat them last year??

We whooooped up on 'em last year, in their house too.

In fact I think we've owned them since they stomped us in the champ game in 01.

Vikes will win, but only because the Giants won't even try.

There is no way the Giants starters will be playing the whole game. I'm giving this one to the Vikings

Of course the Bears will defeat the Texans 20-10

Windy

Good luck. In another year or 2 and the Texans will be a playoff team. They will give the Bears their moneys worth, and I predict the Texans will win by 10.

If the Giants play their starters, I think we still have a chance, but I think the starters will be out by halftime, if they play at all.

Coughlin will not give this game away to the Vikes. He's old-school to the core. I say he plays his starters the whole game to prepare them for the playoffs and they give us everything they've got. Still, the Vikes are tough at home and I see them winning a really, really close game...I hope~!

Although the Giants are decent, they are no super-team that can lay down and still win this game. To think their backups can breeze by any team is rediculous. This ain't high school ball. However, I don't think they'll be needing their entire playbook. Vikes managed an interesting season at best. Hopefully Santa brings them a new QB and playbook for X-mas.

This game should be pretty close. The vikes will surely miss big pat as the giants smash away at our middle. Both teams do lots of running to control the clock and avoid the tide turning interception. AP outduels jacobs and the vikes win 27-21.

I think if the Vikes can stop turning over the ball, they are one of the top teams in the NFL right now! There just isnt any strong teams in the NFC. Like I already said, an easy win for the Vikes!

We need to come out and blitz the [PoorWordUsage] out of them. Give Allen the green light to pick up a couple more fines and throw Manning to the ground like a rag doll. After the first quarter, they'll pull Manning for fear of him getting hurt, then we got this game....

the giants have quite a few key injuries right now and they would be stupid to play some of them guys just to say they beat the vikings in a meaningless game...also risk injury to some of their stars.

if jared and company start smokin manning he won't be in there for long...soon as he starts to get up slow he'll be pulled imo...jacobs is banged up, tuck isn't all there, some of their secondary...there's no reason to play some of those guys whatsoever.

but they will still play to win the game....not like they are gonna let us win...coaches have confidence in some of their back ups to step up and play at a high level...there's a fine line between coming into the playoffs with a W in a meaningless game and losing one/some of your stars in the process.

i'll go

vikes 27- giants 17

That is how I see it too, once Manning gets tapped he will be out. I am pretty Old school but a guy has to be smart, injuries happen. So why not prevent them? I would Tell ELI and Jacobs and Tuck to stay home and get some sleep. They would not even make the flight.

    • Couple things to keep in mind. Various wheels will require varying torque settings and it should be ON the wheel, or in the owners manual. If you are in a shop make a point of TELLING them what torque settings you want used on your tires/wheels. And of course big difference if you have steel or cast aluminum wheels.  Years back, believe it or no, some Dodge trucks would tighten turning LEFT and then on the other side they would tighten turning RIGHT!  You need not ask me how I know this but it all took place in the middle of the Yukon Territory.
    • That's what I had to do to get the tire off.  Not the type of thing you're likely to have handy when you get a flat away from home.
    • A trick my grandfather taught me was using a long tube. Usually a 2-4ft long peice of pipe. He never had an impact so this was as close as having one. Take a big socket wrench then slide the wrench in the pipe and the pipe acts as leverage and I have a peice of pipe hanging in my garage right now just for this reason and I have NEVER not been able to break something free with this method. A little tip I wanted to share.
    • those things are poorly equipped to deal with a MN winter.
    • I have them periodically.   They look like the world's biggest rat.    And they poop all over my low platform feeder.
    • Long standing problem.   I recall breaking a 3/4 craftsman socket trying to get a tire off a 68 vw in the 70's.   I don't know if retorqueing them upon returning from the tire shop is good enough or not.
    • Thanks guys, it would all be during day light and only a couple miles the rest in the ditch. Good idea wanderer on the reflectors. No damage would be done so I think it would be alright.
    • If the sled is not doing any damage to the groomed trail (which I can't imagine it would) and if you are towing it in a safe matter, I doubt that anybody would even care.
    •   Um, isn't that the reason for using a Torque stick so that the lugs are Not "over torqued" just by the wrench?
