Wish-I-Were-Fishn
I heard on the radio that gas might be down to about $1/gal next spring. That might give the RV biz a temporary shot in the arm. Of course it won't stay cheap, but we will take what we can get.
heat checker
Don't pull no more, but $1 would be SWEET!!!! (more autotheway adventures)
tweedlap
If gas goes to $ 1.00 the country will be in a depression or worse. It went up 22 cents, today, in Chaska.tweed
Big Dave2
I'd be happy if it stayed under $2.
Powerstroke
Being back around $1.40 is in line with where it should be with inflation etc. If we see $1 gas, this country would move from recession to depression. Job losses would be astronomical. As nice as it sounds, that would be a bad day.
Scott Stein
filled up for $1.57 today thats fine w/ me even $2 wasnt bad after seeing almost $4 a couple times this summer
Wish-I-Were-Fishn
It's so fickle, a camel farts in the middle east and the cost jumps $.30!Yeah, I'm ok with under $2, but don't let them know that!
upnorth
You do know that shortly after you started this thread gas went like $.20 right?
zamboni
If it stays low, I know I am gonna head over to Mystery Caves/Forestville to camp. Couldn't afford it this summer.
WildCountry
We seen it as low as its going to get, so dont get your hopes up
HaveBaitWillFish
Did you see today that OPEC is cutting back production to increase demand which will inflate the price of oil.

frogtosser
they are losing so much money not being able to gouge us right now. you know they only made a few billion dollars in profit instead of a bunch of billion. they are all crooks
IFallsRon
Interesting that the Fuel Bank gas station in the SC area has dropped to 2.37.9 for prepaid gas even though we're nearly back down to 1.51.9 at the street pump. Dude is banking the price will zoom back up. I still have around 45 gallons of 1.99 gas but I'm considering dropping several bucks on future gas. It's hard to know just like the kicking my 401/403b are taking.

solbes
You had me thinking it was $1 for 2010. Now I'm bummed! Probably be back in the 3-4 range again next year if the economy turns around some.
echotrail
I agree with Solbes. I jumped on this when I read the post title, what a let down. Threads this old should have an audable snooze alarm when re-activated.

LindellProStaf
Here is another one I had to bump to the front. I would like to see $1.00 gas again too....
Jim Almquist
Don't hold your breath waiting They said it wasn't worth going after oil in ND unless gas was $3.50 a gallon and low and behold it made it there and then some. Now that we have paid for all of the equipment and most of there oil lines the price has dropped a little. They have us over the barrel and it contains oil
