I've never tried but I'm sick of getting invited to join mobs, participate in robberies, etc etc. Its obvious some people really like it. I think I need to change my notification settings

I had to change a bunch of notification settings becuase people from high school i am suedo friends with keep playing those games. It drives me nuts when I'll get 20 notifications about what they did in Mafia Wars that night. I now pick friends based on what games they DON'T play.

I am a recent joiner of facebook. I know not what mafia wars is, but am a bit overwhelmed how rabid people are to get me to join.

Yeah I am also annoyed at all the notifications. So I actually changed them on mine so it doesn't tell the whole world every little blasted thing.... otherwise it's a great timesuck.

Yep, it's a must to disable all notifications besides Friend Requests. I just joined about a month ago and am contemplating deleteing my account. I needed a few peoples numbers after I lost my phone and now I have "Friends" I havent seen in 15 yrs that want to chit chat. There's usually a reason we havent talked in 15 years lol.

i played for a long time early last spring to the fall, then after you get all the guns, planes ect it kinda loses the glory, i dont know just lost the coolness what kind of stuff is in there with the upper levels now?

My brother "twisted" my arm to sign up for Mafia Wars and join his Mafia. Now that I did... I'm sucked in as well. How in the world can something seamingly so simple be so addicting.

For awhile, I thought I was making progress than realized, this is going to take seriously a LONG time to unlock all the levels.

So if anyone wants to join my Mafia, let me know.

I thought the same thing, so I am bumping this. What a horrible addiction. Just joined Hansons mafia. I guess wasting a little time at work is not a bad thing......

DTRO and JPZ, I need help with my mafia, I will friend you in FB, I have too many people who have accepted my gift and have done nothing so I am stuck with about 5 people (out of 16) who are sitting at zeros at level 3......doesn't help in fights or getting robbed I tells ya.....Tom Pickett
