solbes
My boat finally made it out of my garage. New last summer and some new stuff added over the winter. So glad it's fishing season again!
SpitnArgueDuckClub*
Man I envy all of you Minnesotan's, you all seem to really have your priorities in check. My priorities (no boat) not so much.....

FishnUMD
I was going to finally make the leap and buy a boat this summer. Then I got engaged. Turns our weddings aren't so cheap, and looking at all these boats makes me wonder if I made the right decision. She woulda stuck around for another yr or two, right? BartmanMN
Solbes, what length is that boat? I have not seen that model before, it looks nice.
solbes
Boat rides pretty good, but it will never be a big water boat. Our lake place is only 9 miles from Leech, but I'll probably stick with good weather when I float the boat there. Model is a 1625 Rebel Xl with an 84" beam. Introduced last year and replaced the Classic this year. Small enough hull that a 75 pushes it along nicely.
PurpleHaZe
Very Nice boat! Saw that new rebel at the boat show this past winter. When you say not a big water boat im confused that boat is plenty big for big water,IMO I fish with a 16 foot 30hp and there isn’t a lake I won’t go on or havent including Lake Superior just have to use common sense. Sandmannd
Those rebels are nice boats. I agree with PH, you should be able to hit good lakes as long as you watch weather and stuff.
fishin58
solbes, didnt you have a Tyee before? How does the rebel compare to that?

Here's what you do and it's the only fair thing to do. You have to buy her an engagement ring right? I think it's only fair that she has to buy you an engagement boat. I think we as men should start to enforce this.

solbes
solbes, didnt you have a Tyee before? How does the rebel compare to that? No Tyee for me, although I like those a lot. I had a 16 foot Forester Contender before that now sits in my neighbors driveway. Same length, narrower beam, and similar layout to the Lund. Except now everything works, starts easy, and has to be watched very closely for dock rash.
Burnham
solbes i see you live in ramsey, and by the pictures it looks as if you live by the old dump site(the big hill). am i correct? haha i feel like a creep
