post up some of your BIG bass here! only 4lb+ fish allowed! share your bait, technique, and where u caught it (if you are willing to tell)

this is my biggest bass ever. i was fly fishing for sunnies on annie battle lake in glendelough state park. it was an amazing sight seeing that huge bass come up and engulf the popper!

4lb male caught sight fishing last spring on lake agnes. i seen a HUGE (6lb+) female nested on a sunken pallet, with several other BIG males around her. this one was the only one i managed to hook up with, and it was the SMALLEST of them!

a 4lb 6oz pig caught while bullhead fishing on lake agnes. this fish won the weekly fishing contest in the junior division, and head the lead until a week before the contest ended. some kid with a 4lb 11oz fish took the title away from me

a big geneva bass (caught on the lake geneva peir) i was using one of the shiners i caught. and i set my rod down with the shiner in the water so i could get a drink before i started fishing again. i just picked up my bottle then i turn and see my rod with a HUGE bend. i set the hook and shortly after i land this beast. it was released after i had my mom bring my scale i left at home (it was 4lb 10oz)

Carpman,

Is that "magnum" or "blue steel" that you're doing in those pictures?? HAHA

Nice pictures big guy.

the only fish i am even holdin out is the first one and i just had the fish laying against my forarm. my forarm is 20 some" long and that bass was past my elbow. i never hold fish out more than a foot or 2 max from my body. i dont do the extended straight arm things for sure. hate it

Not sure what she weighed, but largest was a 22 1/4 incher. three bass bag during a three hour league event weighed 13.8 lbs. the other two fish measured 19.5 and 18.25 So I'm guessing the 22.25 incher was somewhere in the 6 lb range. caught all three in 2 fow or less on white t-rigged worm.

my biggest largemouth came from a metro lake last august - almost midnight on a big double willow spinnerbait. 21.5 inches and 5.2 pounds

Biggest smallmouth came on a yellow buzzbait on a medium sized river from a kayak - 20.5 inches, 5.0 pounds even

i never have a scale in my boat, because they always break on my because water gets in them. My biggest largemouth and smallmouth were both 22"ers. So about 6.2 pounds each, largemouth lizzie crystal rush chain. Smallmouth Minnewaska.
