Anybody else see the clip of this? I like Joaquin sp as an actor but he has hung up acting and wants to move on to music. I think Dave was rather rude and so was Paul Schaeffer. Thats my take.

I think he is overly shy, he is one that does not like the direct limelight. I thought he was either goin to flip out or just walk off. Dave did not read him well at all. He just kept pushin it. Some people would take it well and give it back to dave, but Joaquin took it too heart....maybe I am reading too much into it it?

Seems like it was all a set-up to create interest in his upcoming movie.

I love Letterman, he is the best thing that ever happened to late night tv. Its a talk show and the dude was saying nothing what would you expect Dave to do, he made the best of it.

maybe its because im under 35 years old, but I just dont find much of what David Letterman says very funny.

Conan and Kimmel are way more funny. Imo

BTW, he was at the Viper Room the night his brother Phoenix (who had 1 million times more talent than him) died, and you would think after literally watching your brother die from dope, you would stay off it yourself.

If you saw the show, Phoenix deserved every bit of Sh#! Dave handed to him. The guy was just way out there. Don't know what he was thinking???? What was Dave supposed to do? "Sorry you couldn't be here tonight Joaquin!!!!" That was hilarious.

Phoenix just proved how good of an actor he is. At the very end of the clip Phoenix takes off his glasses, smiles, and you can here "good job, man". It was all an act. All this hype on the internet and tv are giving them both the publicity they wanted.

Saw it, not sure what that was about. He acted like an one-who-thinks-I-am-silly if you ask me.

The fact that he was invited on the show to begin with, shows that they were looking to make a mockery out of him.

He has a problem and if you know anything about drugs, people need treatment rather than ridicule.
