Rebel9921
TMF... just go to their HSOforum and look around for subscription info... its all on there... But then again, you'd might want to wait til the Muskie Expo to get some free stuff or whatsoever...
Muskiefool
Esox Angler is the only one I get anymore, good bunch of guys that care about the fish, all fish.
MuskieJunkie
Musky Hunter is $22 per year an I think it's 8 or 10 issues per year. I like it, there's a lot of good info, A LOT of ads but it's a good magazine. A really good TV show too.

Professional Edge
Esox for me.Not a group of nicer writers that give away most of their secrets. This site is lucky to have a guy like RK visiting it. He really knows his stuff.
frogtosser
yea Esox is a really good magazine
Silver Scale
Esox gets my vote. Like someone else said they care about the fish and the resource. Muskies Inc Magazine has some good stuff once in a while too.
Musky Buck
I subscribe to MH, but agree that esox is my fav. Been reading musky hunter since the 80's and the same articles are done over and over, however I like Gregg Thomas' articles because he usually relates his articles to things that fit no matter where you fish. Things that you and I can control no matter where we fish.
Shawn Kellett
Esox is the only muskie mag I'll buy. I have a problem with some of the columnists on the other muskie magazine. That publication also seems to recycled the same article year after year. EA seems to have the most cutting edge stuff not to mention info on other species. b1gf1sh1
my thought is as long as the magazine in question promotes the betterment of our fisheries as it's MAIN goal, and not a new Rolex, it's worth buying. i don't know which to give a 10 for their efforts or who gets a 3. Musky Hunter was first and Esox took the world by storm. In Fisherman can be a good read, i just need to read around the specific lure promotion sometimes. i mean how many times does the word Berkley need to be said in one paragraph/article? but i guess a bucks a buck. anyway, if it's about fishing i like reading it. if i could only have one muskie mag? Esox.

"The fish crushed the Lindy spinnerbait as I ticked the weeds, then I scooped up the fish with my Beckman" - is getting old. Write good/original content without the endorsement tags, then I will honor your sponsors.

"The fish crushed the Lindy spinnerbait as I ticked the weeds, then I scooped up the fish with my Beckman" - is getting old. Write good/original content without the endorsement tags, then I will honor your sponsors. if it's in the interest of informing me/us of a product i/we might otherwise not know about, i'm ok with that. my turn-off is the constant mention of certain things. ''i was ripping my berkley gulp! through the weeds and the fish grabbed the berkley gulp! almost as soon as the berkley Gulp! hit the water on the second cast. then i casted my berkley Gulp! again, because berkley Gulp! is tougher than live bait it will last 5 times as long on average, but this time over deep sand, and again a fish swallowed my berkley Gulp! immediatly. berkley Gulp! works anywhere anytime theres fish, so on your next fishing trip just cast a berkley Gulp! for yourself and you'll see how great Berkley Gulp! works.... AHHHHH!!! why not ''i casted my berkley Gulp and the fish grabbed >>>''IT''<<< as soon as it hit the water....'' i don't know. it just annoys me that's all. maybe that's why i'm not rich, huh? ...hmmmm. Tim_Anderson
I get them all. Musky Hunter. Muskie. Esox Angler.Gotta say that I really like EA for a number of reasons. Although musky fishing is my #1 gig and my main passion, I am a multi-species guide and angler. It's great to have a magazine devoted to "fish with teeth". I love catching big pike, and learning more and more about it. Walleyes are great too, when they are big, and when musky season is closed!EA has a great staff and group of writers. Pretty hard to find a group of people more dedicated to the sport, IMO. These guys give more than they take. Just check out their HSOforum and you'll see why.
