Had a frusturating labor day weekend. Went out to a lake up north and really had 'em pegged down w/ swim jigs. I lost all 3 of the jigs that I had and had a hard time picking up another fish. Got 5, 4 large and 1 smallie. Here's a nice one, a little over 18", nice and fat.

Nice smallie, same size as one I caught this past weekend NW of Grand Rapids. First smallie of the year for me. Those were some tough conditions, only caught about a half dozen other smaller largies. All fish came on wacky rigged senkos.

I changed up things and went walleye fishing after a while.

I got this one last weekend on vermilion fishing for walleyes. Just under 16. Didn't weigh it.

heres a couple of the best looking bass in our state not the biggest fish but boy are they fun when you find a school of them on ultra light gear and a small spinner

Seriously though, those white bass are fun when they are schooled up and agressive. I can't beleive how small the state record is. I know I've had some close.

caught this pig up in the BWCAW this weekend didn't get a tape on it. What are your guess on measurements?

got this nice largemouth out of mille lacs this weekend. 19.5in 4.75lbs. my buddy thought it would be good to get into the pic has well. Oh by the way Deitz thanks for the advice on the CDM 580 silver glass---they are amazing.

Are these fish all coming from the same lake? Also, just wondering what you've been getting them on. I haven't made it out much to a couple of my "pig" lakes yet this fall but by the looks of what you've been posting I might have to get out to them this weekend.
