Wiskers
Unless I can pull a rabit out of my hat. I will have to see if I can do some magic. I would really like to bring the new Beavertail Jet up there and break her in with some HUGE SUMO Sturgies. I could have room for a few guys if I can make it. setterguy
Me and a buddy are having a discussion about tackle for the sturgeon. He feels strongly that lighter tackle did better last year. I don't necessarily disagree but wanted to get some input on what size leaders, hooks you use.

Minnewawa
we use our musky rods with a leader of 30lb mono. the more important thing seems to be making sure your bait stays on the bottom. We use 2-4oz disc weights. Heading up the 23rd and expecting some good fishing.
crazyice
I just read that Vidas is completely open and able to launch pretty much any sized boat. I looked at one of the weather sites and it looks like by the end of this coming week and next weekend that there should be some favorable weather for opening that beast up to the bay hopefully! Tyler Holm
The word was posted that the open water extend into Baudette now. The 10 day forecast looks promising to push it to the bay.

wastewaterguru
I have a 7 man cabin reserved and only 5 guys.......I don't have any room in the boat, but if two guys want to jump in with us at Schusters let me know. Headed up early on Thursday and coming back Sunday.
fishuhalik
We probably saw just as many sturgeon on as we did walleyes on Saturday. I was wondering, if anyone wanted another person in the boat on Sunday the 19th, I'll bring the bait for the day! I still have half a flat of crawlers and about 6 dozen preserved emeralds left and need to use 'em up!
Bandit
E-mail me at clwolfswinkel at msn.com I have Sunday off, have not had my boat in the water yet, but could get it done before then so it is ready to go[i hope].
