elusivecrappiecatcher
This is my 07 440 Snocross racer that I trail converted. I hit a stump and front flipped it this weekend. No damage to the sled just a scuffed up decal. I was fine as well.
landscaper
MNUser or anyone How do you guys like the Yamaha 4-stroke??
MNUser
landscaper,I really like the 4 strokes after having 2 strokes all my life. They are great little sleds. Not speed demons but have incredible pull down low. 0-60 is a blast. I will never go back to 2 stoke technology. If you ever come up to ride in the Brainerd Lakes area, let me know. Maybe we can get together for a ride and you can take one for a spin.

landscaper
MNUserWell the thing is that i am "looking" at getting a sled and since i am a Yamaha Fan i have been looking at their sleds. So once/if i get one we will have to go riding since i live in Brainerd Myself
MNUser
Drop me a PM and you can run over sometime and take it for a spin on the lake. It is a different ride. It took a bit to get use to it. I have put about 400 miles on it and I love riding it. It is a blast.Rumor has it, Yamaha is going to come back with the Exciter next Fall it will be in that 100/105HP range to fill the gap between the Nitro and the Phazer. I look forward to seeing if it holds out. If so, and it rides like the Phazer, I may have to pick one up.

MN Mike
We went to Cooke City January 21 - 25, this year marks 10 years of going there for most of us and it's always a good time. This year though the snow wasn't as good as I have seen it, they had lots of it but it was tracked up pretty bad and they hadn't had much new snow in the last 12 days or so but even at that, the avalanche danger was still high because of the burried layers of loose snow, so that was always in the back of your mind when a person was doing some climbing. We had one rookie with this year ( he's riding a King Kat and he's wearing the orange / green jacket ), thats always fun and good for a few laughs for sure. The first morning started out cloudy so we just played it safe in the trees and areas we knew. The sun finally started to break about noon and then we could play in other spots and stop for a little hot dog roast. Here's the rookie huggin' trees in Cooke City. So, for that, he's the first one over the cornice to check things out......... his Wife is going to FREAK !!! when she see's that picture, might be my last time to Cooke City! It's probably a good thing the picture doesn't tell the whole story on how steep it was on the other side I have to slide in couples pic from last Febuary's trip to Colorado, just shows what kind of powder a guy can run into sometimes. Hope to make it out again this year if things work out and they get more snow. Mike

Central Bassman
Great pictures... MIke do you were HMK gear??
MN Mike
I've got an HMK backpack and that is it otherwise I run Cat clothing, some of the others have HMK gear but that wasn't by choice, someone helped themselves to the gear they had and they had to replace it with what they could. Seems to be good stuff, you like to be warm but not have the bulkyness of some of the gear out there.
