I too would like to see those great game winning drives in the 4th quarter. Unfortunately we haven't had a team that accomplishes that consistantly for long long time. It takes more than even a great QB. It takes a great team.

Heck, Aaron Rodgers is now 0-8 on those kind of drives. Of course I think Aaron Rodgers stinks and I hope the Pack sticks with him for a long time. smile

T-Jack and the entire team needs to bring it this week. If not then a few guys will be looking at the short end of the straw on this years Vikings team.

Chili needs to open up that mid-range passing game too.

Kind of funny how it's "Aaron Rogers" being 0-8 when the whole team seems to be out there at the same time. If the field goal kicker doesn't mess up things are a bit different!

Stinks? I'd take him over any quarterback the Vikings have had since Fran Tarkington! Is Fran a womans name?

I think the mid range passing game is there, it is T jack just has to have more confidence to THROW them passes. Not everyone is going to be wide open. When the pressure was on him he couldn't get it done.

Here is what a REAL un-biased Evaluator (not you Packer Fans who think Rodgers is good, he's 0-8 for crying out loud on gamne winning drives) has to say about Tarvaris:

"Jackson had another good game for the Vikings. He has played well since taking over for the injured Gus Frerotte. Jackson completed 22 of 36 passes for 233 yards and two touchdowns. On only eight carries, Jackson tied Adrian Peterson for the team high in rushing yards with 76. He was effective and efficient, looking more confident than earlier in the season. The Giants will be a tough test next week."

All the rest of you are a Packer or Bears fan. If by some slim chance you are a true Vikings fan give the man his props when they are due and they are.

It's only the truth, he's effective at the dump off passes and when he's got a wide open reciever coming across the middle and nobody can argue he's got legs. Look at the difference in the first half and second half.(second half stats)13-26 134 yards 3 fumbles and a sack and too many throw aways. Even throughout his career, he's got a 123 rating in the 1st quarter and a 85 rating in the 4th.

And i'm a fan, don't doubt that. I wouldn't spend my time crying around about our failures it I wasn't.

FISHINGURU's = another Packer Fan for sure and his man love is for Packer QB Aaron Rodgers.

Funny how a younger team led by Favre can go 13-3 and the same year wiser squad under Rodgers goes 5-10 AND he is 0-8 on possible game winning drives. Now THAT IS A FACT Rodgers/Packer fans!!!!!

If anything most people here are too much of Viking fans to see anything beyond the Vikings.

Rick I would bet that you would have been one of the ones in late summer that was saying that you wouldn't want Brett Favre to come and play in Minnesota just because he played for the Packers. I think he would have looked pretty good in a purple jersey this year.

You can call me a Packer fan if you want for saying this but I am not. I am an Alabama Crimson Tide fan!!!!!!

Hey Big Dave,

I would have loved to see Brett come here. I will gladly take any decent ex=packers to help keep them down.

I back the Vikings and am a real Vikings fan but am also a realist. T-Jack is no Brett Favre and it would've done our young QBs some good sitting behind Favre. Chili is not the coach I hoped he'd be either. Maybe he'll get better too. I will root for him to do that.

I am also a Golden Gophers and Texas Longhorns fan.

The "Vikes Will Win".

uh, there was no interference there IMO.

are you sure? did you watch multiple angles on the replay on Sportscenter? Looked like a arm was pulled a little bit, doesn't matter how small of an interfer it was...still a pass interference.

I don't care...Vikes are "Out of It!" anyway grin

I thought the Vikes got a gift penalty earlier on a pass near the sidelines when their reciever got pushed OB but the ball was clearly uncatchable even if he did not get pushed but he got the call.

yeah there was, ever heard of 2 feet inside leaning over the out of bounds catch? CATCHABLE!!!!!!!!!

Vikes are still "Out of It!" grin

lmmfao at rick...your a realist ..good one

just because people can see the real facts doesn't make them a fan of the other teams lol...i know manning and brady are the best qb's in the league but i'm not a colt or pat fan.

last i looked rodgers doesn't play defense and the pack lose most of there games by a couple points that the defense gives up at the end of games....like last night rodgers wont get credit for leading the team down for a chance to win but he did just that...along with the other handful of 8 times your talkin about.

rodgers and tjunk have played about the same amount of games add up the stats...add up the stats for any qb we've had recently and get back to me.

I believe as most will that you are a closet Packer fan FISHINGGURU.

Not that there's anything wrong with that mind you. smile
