0 Tippman
Depending on how much you're looking to spend Costa del Mar and Maui Jim are both great. If you do a search on here they've been covered extensively in the past. A lot of it is personal preference. Both I mentioned are top of the line. I've got Maui Jim's and love them. 0 picksbigwagon
Oakley Flak Jackets with XLJ (I think) polarized lenses. second season with them this year. I use them at work outside teaching the kids too
0 Lotwfisher
I love my Maui Jims but I also have a great pair of Rapala's with the titanium frames...They are less than $100 and don't give you raccoon eyes.
0 fisherdog19
I loved my Maui Jim's with the titanium frames until I left them in my boat while trailering it and they blew away
0 polarsusd81
I have had my pair of Oakley A-Wire polarized glasses for 6 years now and they have a few treble hook scratches in them but they still work great. I wear them all the time. They are the amber lenses and even in low light periods they aren't too dark.

0 Musky_Madness
Another vote for Costa Del Mar's. You can't beat the quality of vision through a glass lens. I have a pair of Oakley's too, but they just don't measure up. The vision quality isn't as great but are nice shades none the less.
0 JohnMickish
I'm an Oakley fan, besides having more than three polarized lense colors they make enough different frames to give you the coverage you need. I spend alot of time outside and the two pairs I use (Big Square Wires and Hijinx) fit close enough to my cheeks and wrap around so that very little glare gets into my eyes. BTW, they also sell this really cool water repelent stuff you put on the lenses.
0 bassNspear
check out natives. I have used them for a few years now, and love them. There not alot of money as well.
0 Pherris
Maui Jim are my choice. I also have ray ban polorized but favor the Maui Jim's by a long shot.
0 Deitz Dittrich
I'm a huge fan of Costa DeMar, they seem to fit my head best. I just picked up 2 pair of Man-o-War frames with different colord lenses.
0 bigswede
I have a pair of the Oakley fishing specific and love them so far. It is my second pair of the Oakley polarized and like both of them
0 Hookmaster
I have a pair of the green-mirrored polarized glass Ocean Waves. They are awesome. Absolutely no eye fatigue after a day on the water. It is worth it to invest in one of the brands listed in this thread. I'm looking at getting something with amber lenses for cloudy conditions or maybe something with interchangable lenses. 0 jholland
The only pair of polarized sunglasses I've ever owned were when I was about 7 years old. Unfortunately now, I'd like to get some nice glasses for the utility of them but have a few I would like to consider before buying brand new ones, and see if they are polarized. Is there a way to tell if sunglasses are polarized? I've been told that some things just 'look different' and some car windshields are also much different, but that doesn't help me too much
0 JohnMickish
If you purchase them from a reputable dealer they should have something that will show you the difference when you look at it thru the glasses. Besides that, if the glasses don't have a tag stating that they are, they probably aren't.
0 delcecchi
The trick of holding two pairs at right angles so the light goes through both pairs still works. If the light transmission varies with the angle the two pairs are at, they are polarized.
0 Hookmaster
Like delcecchi said when you take two pair of polarized sunglasses, hold them up with on rotated 90 degrees and the light will be totally blocked.
